Lorenz 730 Blower

Not buying anything from Lorenz as most of the parts are basic general parts like seals, bearings chains ect that can be sourced at local parts houses or ag stores. Just takes a bit of time to get part #'s to cross and or in the case of the bearing had to measure it up and search out the part #'s that way too. I just torched the inner bore of the bearing off the shaft after trying to heat it and air hammer it didn't budge it.

I agree for basic parts, but I opted to buy the hydro rotation motor mount from them because it was $15 and would take longer to fabricate. And I bought the hydro worm gear as well. In addition, the one piece chute clamp on mine was twisted and binding (another horrible design) so I ordered their two piece ç*¥pgrade because I don稚 think that part is easy to source.
That said, the parts I received looked like someone spray painted them (lots of runs) and I expected powder coat. One half of the two piece clamp was not flat which is why I decided to just make my own bearing swivel chute upgrade which wont require the clamp to fit loose anymore.
I got lucky and found a 4 pack of auger bearings on auction site for $15 shipped. My bearing flanges were reusable.

I am thinking about adding the spout kit from Lorenz, I have hyd rotation but manual deflector which after my first use found would be nice to have the ability to adjust it as this thing is a beast in regards to how it blows the snow. Easily throws snow about 4 times farther / higher than my last blower which was a 60" Jinma nearly Identical to the newer Kubota / landpride snowblowers. I had added 3/8 inch to the blower blades and other mods to help the performance of the Jinma plus I ran it at the 720 RPM on my B2150 HST Kubota.

I just modified the factory non-powered deflector.

Looks good, did you source the kit someplace or just build it yourself?

I fabricated the brackets and bought the linear actuator off of the auction site for $32. 300lb 4 stroke IP65 which is more than enough travel. I added the shock boot to keep water from running down the shaft and freezing since the actuator end plate is composite. I wanted it bolt on in case I wasn稚 satisfied with it.
I bought a small 2肺2 aluminum box and mounted a forward / reverse toggle switch which fits in the palm of my hand and wired it up to a 12VDC lighter plug off an old spotlight. Plan on running the wires up through the cab by the hst range lever or simply between the back glass and seal.
