I bought a 7" leinbach rake last weekend, slightly used for $350, seems to be a well built rake. Went to the local dealer for gauge wheels, ouch - $200.

I've been selling the Leinbach Rakes for several years now! They are made better than many of the name brand rakes but are available at very reasonable prices.

8+ hours of heavy use, raking fist to bowling ball sized stones and no problems. I have a friend that bought a farm/country "economy" rake and turned it into a pretzel within 30 minutes.

Should I beef up the angle iron that holds the teeth?, before it meets an imovable object? or am I wasting my time? I've a 7" rake and a 37hp tractor.
