I just have one warning: if you elect to finish the doors yourself using the recommended Sikkens Cetol 23 top coat, you should do so in an area with more ventilation than a standard residential basement. Seriously. One day my wife came home, came down into the cellar, and said "Do you have ANY idea what the house smells like?" -- and I think I replied, "Do we, like, have any really groovy Jimi Hendrix records we could blast?" :laughing:
