Except I have UTV's too. Gas.:)
True. Fortunately I can drive my UTV to a nearby gas station.
I believe Kubota sells diesel UTV's.

We switched from a gas Kawasaki Mule to a diesel Kubota RTV-X. Now the 3 tractors, the ZD1211 ZTR, and the RTV-X are all diesels. They get refilled from a 58-gallon John Dow fuel pod on a small trailer. The chainsaws, blowers, the weed eater, and the pole saw are all battery powered. The only gas motor left is a small 50CC Honda on the pasture vacuum. A gallon of gas goes a long way.

Are you using the electric chainsaw to cut firewood? or is it just for cleaning up after storms?

I can see a battery power being good to have in the UTV when driving around the trails of a property. Certainly for a lot of stop/start cutting. The perils of a gas powered saw is always starting them. It's even worse with todays saws, if they don't get run long enough for a second hot start. My Husky 550 is great on a cold start and a hot start. When it's only run a few minutes and then I try to restart is usually where the issue is.
