Why are a lot of the pics posted lately so large? Some of them are so large I have to scroll 3 times to the right AND 3 times down to see the entire photo, and this is with a 24 inch monitor.

Very frustrating.

I'm experiencing it too. All pics are way huge and I end up having to use 'ctrl -' to get them to where I can view them, and when I go back to the thread then all the text is ultra tiny and I have to do ctrl + to get back to readable?! What's up with this glitch?

On my end, I see the entirety of each photo on my laptop screen (15" or so). I do have to scroll when I click on the magnifying glass icon to enlarge the image.

Those pics do explode to super huge when I click on them. If I click in the pic after it has initially opened it then downsizes somewhat, but not like pics normally do. I have to scroll up and across to see sections of the pic, never a full view like the thumbnail shows. It just started doing this recently?!

What browser/OS are you using? If its after you click on the thumbnail, that is something that is in the browser itself and hos it handles pictures, not something in TBN like it would be if it was happening with inline pictures.

G Chrome, Win 7. It's AFTER I click on, for instance, the images in the first link of the tractor carryall.
So how do I restore normality?

Thanks,
CM

Yep, it's the browser. Google Chrome is what I use most of the time. But I noticed that regular Google they open up extra large but immediately shrink to a view-able size, then I can click on the pic and it will get larger and click again for smaller.

So, if you go to: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...6965d1385142773-i-match-carryall-100_1086.jpg it is too big?
If that's the case, I would check what plugins you have installed in Chrome and possibly re-install it. In Chrome on my computer (version 31.0.1650.57 m) it works just like on Firefox, it auto-sizes the picture to fit the window when you load it.

The link you cited shows the top of the light pole and I have to scroll down to see part of the JD tractor, and across to see other portions.
I'd prefer to NOT have to reinstall anything. Is there no other way to make it do the pics correctly?

I just reset the Chrome browser, no change, except it wiped out the ad blocker add-in. What is the link to kill the ads?

Thanks.

I had it, AB+, now it's disabled. Could you please share the link to reload it?

Thanks.

I thought it was up to the OP to resize the images before posting them, or does this site have auto resize when images are submitted at whatever size:confused:

many times when I find an image way too large to view i'll save it to my file and use my own editing software to size it down to within a comfortable frame for viewing, for example: I cut this image size in half to 600 mp....
and if the subject is about the caryall I can crop the image to have a better view of the subject, ( caryall )

Personally, I prefer larger photos than these!:2cents:
