I sprinkled so much SEVEN on the ant mounds that it looked liked it had snowed. It was on there about six days and then we got a light shower. Went back two days later and the ant were crawling everywhere. So much for using Seven on ants. Guess I'll have to go to plan "B". RRM

I'm a BIG AMDRO fan...on the big mounds I may have to reapply for two or three days but is kills 'em dead.

I like Amdro too. But, whatever you use is a temporary fix. At least around here. You can run them off for a while but like McArthur and Arnold, they'll be back.

I like permethrin dust.. but as N80 said.. nothing is permanent..

You need to use bait, something they'll take down into the colony and kill everything including the queen.............but then, others will move in. It's a holding effort at best......

And living in Florida, I think we cultivate these darn things and think about how long they have been around on this Earth, that should tell ya something right there :D
