Just Bought a 1500

[Neat 1500]

Hi All,my name is Paul and i am from Australia. Last week i bought a reconditioned YM1500 and from what i gather it is a later one(less of the drive shaft exposed-seals/bearing is closer to wheel) Now after doing alot more research i am now a little worried about what i have bought.From what i have read it may have been recoe'd in vietnam and the Bulldog FEL has no available spares?The Tractor Dealer i bought it from said He has sold many of them and had no comebacks for this model.I also see some say it is light duty only,not that i am going to use it for business,only some excavating and slashing(also got a 4' slasher for it) should i be worried or am i being paranoid? It's too late to worry now. Just wait and see what happens. I know people who have them and have not had any trouble but I also know people that have had a lot of problems. A good one is bound to slip out once in a while.

You say something about excavating. I got a bit too rambunctious with mine a couple of years ago while digging some sand out of a wash. The input shaft to the transmission failed. I decided it was not designed to operate as a bulldozer. It has worked great since I repaired it. I just don't push it as hard.
