JD valve stem size

i'm getting ready to change front tires on my JD 4300. i know (well, think) that there are 2 common valve stem sizes, .453" diameter hole and .625". i could tell they aren't the bigger one, so i got the .453". now that i have them in my hand, the .453" look bigger than what's in the wheel. not sure i can get a good measurement, and it's too late when i cut the old ones off! i see there is a .346" diameter stem, but seems to be uncommon. does anyone know if deere used the common size of .453" (11.5mm) or if it's smaller?

after i got the tire off, the stems were stamped. They were .453"....but i swear they look smaller.

It doesn't make sense, the holes do caliper out different that the numbers they give, but that's what they're listed as. I have the big ones because Datsun used them on the pickup wheels for some reason.

after i got the tire off, i saw mine were stamped tr413, so then i knew it was .453"...i got tr412 (.453") because I knew it wasn't the .625" (tr415 are) but when i compared the tr412 to the ones in the rim, it just looked smaller, that's why i was wondering if they were oddball and a smaller size. i never did check the actual hole size since the 'specs' said they were the same diameter (and they did go in).
