JD 2305

Gents,

I have a 2010 " 2305". I was mowing with it this morning when it suddenly died. The fuel gage dropped to zero. The tank is 3/4 full. I tried starting it and figured out it will stay running as long as I hold the key switch to start. I was able to drive it back to garage that way. Any ideas where a fuse would be blown and where to look ? Thanks in advance for imput.

Disregard, it was the fuse by the air breather (15a)

Good to hear you found the problem.
Hope the starter is ok after making that trip back to the garage.

Completely my fault ! I had hooked up a trailer last fall and tied into the turn signals with a pigtail, the wire was pinched with the 3 point hitch causing a 20 a fuse to blow. For future reference for anyone ... The motor started back up but only ran when I held the key to on. I was able to let off the key switch gently till the starter quite turning. ( sound ). And drive it. To garage shade. Having my girl not run was a hopeless feeling. Whew - got lucky
