I was contacted by a friend asking to pull some posts. I have only attempted 1 post in the past screwing around and was unsuccessful. Please post pictures or videos of pulling posts and or suggestions. Thank you

Do you have an idea how deep they are in the ground?

Use a brush grubber on the 3-pt hitch. Works like a charm for posts. Make sure you get one of the larger models with jaws able to open wide enough for the post.

If you have a FEL on the tractor, wrap a chain with a slip hook around the post down low and hook the other end on the bucket and lift the post with the FEL.

I agree. I use my forks though as they have a ring to attach a chain to. You can also rock the post back and forth a lil first like a you puling a tooth.

I'd use the 3pt as well, lot more pulling power. May need to push them around a bit to loosen them up I guess depending on how well they are in there.

I use the 3 point and choker to pull stumps, fence post, anything stuck in the ground I want out. The beauty of the 3 point is that it wont try to flip the tractor when the FEL unloads the rear wheels. On the rear obstinate stuff, pull up and then hit it with a 10lb sledge. They usually come right out even with a concrete base.

I have tried in the past, the choker chain and FEL method. It worked with t posts but not the 4" cements in post.

I like the brush grabber idea. How would I hook this to the 3point?

Any photos of ideas?

Soak the post for a few days with drip irrigation SLOW drip so they soaked DEEP, and they should all just pop out with FEL
