well thanks for the help everybody ,I will have to make some calls and find out who makes cat 2 hydraulic top links with check valves. called ccm only sells cat 1 , it is hard to go up from cat 1 to cat 2 , ( like from top link to implement)but I could cut off end of top link and weld on new cat 2 fitting

Actually, there is another option if one needs to buy both the control valve AND the cylinders.
I bought Prince valve sections which have pilot operated check valves built in. They lock the cylinders in place when the control handle is centered.
One shortcoming might be that if a hose should break/leak, the cylinder will not stay locked in position as it would when the PO check valves is piped directly to the cylinder ports at the cylinder. This is not an issue for my use on the 3PH.
I am satisfied with doing it this way...one positive is that since the PO check valves are in the control valve, any cylinder can be used.

Not true. Check Integration Engineering. Good luck though, in getting them to answer email. I'm still trying to find out if they make a Cat 2 cylinder myself.

Integration Engineering is no more. Their entire inventory has been consigned to CCM for sale. Check with Mark Carter (CCI) to see what ends he has left. He is only advertising Cat 1 at this time.

Doesn't surprise me, I purchased my top & tilt from IE and things were a bit shaky even back then. The product however was first rate.
Kinda wondered what ever happened as the name seemed to drop off the face of the earth.

they are still around I just spoke to jim on the phone sent him a email day before and was answered the next day with cell # so as to make it easy to call him .he does not have cat 2 top links for those who are looking for one .but his cat 1 is a 2.5 cylinder and rod dia. is 1.25 thick with p/o check valves .gearmore uses cat 2 with 3 in cylinder 1 1/8 in rod and pressure reduce valves for slower motion and no p/o check valves . ccm uses 2in cylinder and 1 1/8 rod and p/o check valves . price on the intergration was 265, gearmore was 300, ccm was 170, ccm has much better price but intergration has bigger cylinder and larger rod dia.hope this helps those who might be looking
