Hydraulic filter Ford 1200 tractor

I just purchased a 1980 Ford model 1200 tractor with a Ford 768A loader. I would like to change the hydraulic oil and filter but I can't find a part number for the filter. Hate to put new oil in and not change the filter. Does anyone know what filter it takes? It is a cartridge filter, not a spin on. I have the operator's manual but it doesn't show part numbers for any of the filters.

I’m remembering those to be a washable metal screen.

yes , joecdeere is correct. i have a ford 1300 which is basically the same tractor and the hydraulic filter is a reusable metal screen. i just wash mine in gas, blow a little air thru it and let it dry good. reinstall and you will be good to go.

glad it worked out for you. keep her running, handy little tractors. i recommend you never use starting fluid in it, i have heard of broken crankshafts in these tractors linked to the use of either (starting fluid)
