John Deere 650 Hydraulic Filter

I have a 1983 650 which works great. I changed all filters/fluids after I purchased it except for the hydraulic filter. I have the cut sheet that shows a sleeve type filter RE27284. When I look that up on all websites I can find included John Deere official site it gives me a screw on filter. The cut sheet show the screw on filter with a different part number. When I use that part number I get the same results as when I use the sleeve part number.

I have attempted to look up the model number - 0650S006640CH but other than finding the year, no other website recognizes this.

How do I find the correct sleeve filter for the hydraulics? YouTube shows how to change it, and some are metal mesh filters which I could just clean I guess, but other show a cloth filter.

Any advice would be greatly apricated.

Are you talking about a 650 tractor? It shows CH14816 filter in the Trans.Usually you just pull it out and clean it .They cost about $100.
jdparts.deere.com and look under trans case for parts number.
