John Deere 650 Hydraulic Filter

I have a 1983 650 which works great. I changed all filters/fluids after I purchased it except for the hydraulic filter. I have the cut sheet that shows a sleeve type filter RE27284. When I look that up on all websites I can find included John Deere official site it gives me a screw on filter. The cut sheet show the screw on filter with a different part number. When I use that part number I get the same results as when I use the sleeve part number.

I have attempted to look up the model number - 0650S006640CH but other than finding the year, no other website recognizes this.

How do I find the correct sleeve filter for the hydraulics? YouTube shows how to change it, and some are metal mesh filters which I could just clean I guess, but other show a cloth filter.

Any advice would be greatly apricated.

8spd. 2cyl. HS-4150 Filter screen element Yanmar. They use it on several models. The Ym240 JD. Same as my YM2000 Yanmar Element

Are you talking about a 650 tractor? It shows CH14816 filter in the Trans.Usually you just pull it out and clean it .They cost about $100.
jdparts.deere.com and look under trans case for parts number.

John Deere page said it will not fit my model - appears there are 8 different models of the 650 and I'm unable to confirm mine as nothing shows the model number is correct.

These have a plate attached to one end. Does not match what mine is. Appears there are eight different versions of the 650 and three or four of them have completely different layout.

Is it a power shift Trans. or gear shifted they all bolt up. Only a couple options org. Available. PS. will have a spin on also.
