HPX Tires

The HPX 4x4 comes with HPAP tires standard. The HPAT are optional and list for $158. I was wonder how many opted for the HPAT at purchase time? Besides the more aggressive tread do the HPAT have a higher PR rating?

I did some looking in the JD parts WEB site.

The HPAP front tires are 24x9.5-10 4 PLY - 92.00 a tire
The HPAP rear tires are 24x10.5-10 4 PLY -94.00 a tire

The HPAT front tires are 24x9.5-10 4 PLY - 92.00 a tire
The HPAT rear tires are 24x12-10 4 PLY - 110.00 a tire

The difference in price between the standard and optional tires is $32. Deere is asking $158 if you select the optional tires. They must charge labor to switch the tires??

I don't know about prices since my HPX came with the HPAT tires, but I definately recommend them. They are a self-cleaning tire and really work good in mud.

I ordered my HPX with the HPAT tires and my dealer included them in the standard base price. They really "clean out" the mud. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
