This is an old thread getting revitalized again;
I made a 3 point to hitch adapter a while ago, also a major concern when using the 3 point for towing trailers is that when stopping going down hill or trying to backup is that the hitch can lift from the trailer pushing which can cause damage to the tractor. I run chains from the top of the hitch down to a clevis in my fixed drawbar to prevent the load form lifting the hitch higher then I like or want.

In this picture you can see the chains to the drawbar to prevent the trailer tongue from lifting to high.

The yellow stands are removeable when needed but keep the hitch upright and ready to attach to the tractor

This hitch can handle goose necks or the clevis hitch is in the 2" receiver so any ball mount can be used.
