Good labor day weekend everyone...I've been a lurker for six months or so and have learned so much from all of the posters that frequent TBN. I can buy a truck on a moments notice and without a whole lot more thought than that!, but deciding on a tractor was more difficult than I ever imagined it would! My wife, Cindi, would walk by the office and look at me on the computer and say....'You doing tractor stuff again?' I'd nod, and she'd come in and pat me on the head, kiss me good night, and then go do bed, and to sleep! Now that I'm through that process, hopefully the late nights will end!!!!
I got home last night with a brand spankin' new PT425 and several toys,,,,I mean tools.!!!, and the experience was great. I'll write more after the weekend, and I'll post pictures when I figure out how to use my digital camera!
But I do want to say an extra, and special, thank you to Dave Williams at Bradford Industrial, and to Neil Messick at Messick Farm Equipment. While I didn't end up with either of their tractors, both gentlemen were incredibly helpful and patient as I sorted through the process. I would highly recommend that anyone interested in a conventional CUT at least speak with them as part of their decision making process. Thanks guys....very much.
So I'm off to the beach for the rest of the weekend. I put the 425 through its paces this morning, and now the work begins. I am excavating underneath my house prior to jacking it up to put a full foundation under it. I'll keep you all posted... Have a great rest of the labor day weekend, Tom
