Hi I am going to be buying my first tractor soon a Yamar 2450. It comes with a backhoe and a loader bucket. My question is i have 2 acers of lanf to clear that is very brushy. I know a brush hog would mow it down but how do you clear the roots? With a backhoe to dig them up?

If it were me, I wouldn't mow it. I'd get a cat with a brush rake and run it through the brush with the blade down and then pile it for burning.

If you dead set on doing it with a tractor, start looking for a brush grapple. They're spendy and for two acres, hiring a cat/brush rake will end up being cheaper.

To get rid of the stumps you'll need a pto stump grinder. I don't think you'll make much progress with a 24 hp back hoe. How are you going to move the lumber? The brush you could probably get with a bush hog, but you'll have stay on it as the stuff will coming right back. To get it all you'll need to pull it out by the roots.
Gotta' agree with Jerry, hire a pro with a big dozer. He can stack your lumber until you can split it for fire wood or sell it off.

I think you'll be a lot happier and productive with 35-40 horse machine with 4wd.
