To pull the backend around you might just do the same thing you did to pull it upright but hooked up down lower. Move your winch setup off to the side also so it’s pulling more sideways.

Nice to see you have it upright and back onto the tires. When you have time, make yourself a written checklist of the correct order of things you need to do before trying to start it. Once you get it to a spot were you can start working towards getting it started, check ALL fluid levels and radiator level before attempting to start it. Take your time and go thru the written check list so you don,t get distracted and skip a step, and make a very costly error. Patience and having a clear mind will be help you keep repair costs to a minimum.

Off-subject, when I rolled my Ryobi ZT, it being electric with lithium batteries, I just started using it as soon as it was on its wheels again. I understand that larger, heavy duty machines require petrol power. Sometimes, being battery-electric comes in handy. The only fluids onboard are in the cup holder!

I am considering running a strap through the rear rim plate for a pulling point. Hopefully that won't damage the rim.

I'm wondering if a few smaller logs behind the rear wheels would act as rollers and allow it to "skid" sideways a bit towards the road as you pull on it.

It looks like that capstan winch was just the ticket.
