HELP needed- JD 770 not starting

My 1996 JD 770 tractor is not starting. i get no lights or anything. checke battery-it's good. i checked the fuses and after pulling them all-it did start. then, a few days later the same exact thing happened. i quickly tried the check the fuses again and this time it didn't help.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. i'm in the middle of a big project....thank you

"get no lights" .. so the starter is not turning the engine over..

Remove and clean all the battery cable connections. Let us know if the engine will then turn over with the starter.

I suspect bad battery cable or battery connection. Clean and tighten all battery connections and check where ground cable attaches to frame.

battery cables should not move by twisting with your hand

You guys are all terrific! Saved my bacon today. Hubby went out and removed battery-disconnected, cleaned and took all the crud off the battery cables, reconnected them and....my green baby started right up and worked like a champ all day long.
