Seems like everyone has a different experience. For a few people, it worked fine out of the box. Others (including me) had to do some minor mods to it to make it work. Some just sent it back. The return policy seems OK, so not too much risk there...

It seems to do the job just fine, but it is built, like many of the Chinese imports, rather "beefy". Not much finese. Just a lot of very thick, heavy steel. That's what has been my problem. The steel is so thick that it interferes with the implements I'm attaching to it. A little cutting or grinding (not much), fixed the clearance issues for me. I also had to use a hydraulic floor jack to spread the arms slightly on mine. Not sure if this is due to the implements I have or the quick-hitch. Both implements were the same.

Bottom line... It worked out OK for me. Thumbs up from here...

for me the jury is still out - depends on the adapter... the hook was a no-go ...

Thumbs up, I've used mine all summer. It did need some porta power modifications, 10 minutes and it was good to go.

Thumbs up for me, too. I've used it since July and have had no problems. I use the hook on the rotary mower, and the adapter on my blade. It is a bit cumbersome switching back and forth with the hook and adapter, but I still think I save time with the overall hookup.

I don't think you'll find one cheaper priced anywhere else. My local farm store has the exact same hitch for 3x the $$.

That's my $0.02.

My order is in after I mashed the crap out of my thumb unhooking my box blade today! I will post my opinions when it shows up. I went ahead and ordered the adaptor while I was at it, just in case.

I bolted mine to a skidsteer quick attachment plate and it works great and the other one, I will PTO the thing ( 26 plus PTO hydraulic, at shaft HP )for the front of my Case 1845 C and run my 5 foot Howse RC from it and I may get lucky enough to get a post hole digger for it also

Will these work on a cat II hitch or are they only for cat I Compact tractors? I would be putting it on a John Deere 5200.

This is a loooooooooooong thread.... I got mine yesterday at a Harbor Freight store. I ask the manager to let me open the box and measure the inside width. They all measured 1 5/8". So I bought 2. One for me and one for a buddy.

Ordered mine Aug 29 and recieved it today Sept 15. It was on B/O for a short time then shipped. I am not usually a fan of Harbor Freight for tools, but for 69.99 and 8.99 shipping this thing seems like a good deal. It fit on my tractor with no problem and fit all my implements after the initial setup. I think that H/F finally got a good shipment from their supplier.

How wide is the space between the lift arms on the hitches being sent to you by Harbor Freight? The one I looked at is 26 inches and will have to be spread about an inch to work on my frontier box blade.
Thanks, John

I got my adapter last week and the hitch yesterday. I did have to spread the bottom about 1/2" (no problem) I then tried hooking up to my boxblade and bush hog ... well neither would work without the adapter, but once I put that on, it worked great. I can even hook up the top without getting off the tractor! I also have a 24" pond scoop and did not try that, but I don't think it's gonna work on that one.

I received my adapter and finally had a chance to try it out. It is real easy to hook up now. Just what I wanted. I would say it's tough to beat this for the money. We'll see how it holds up but, so far, I'm very pleased. :)

I want my ADAPTER!!!

That is the only drawback to my hitch. I used it a bunch yesterday and it was much easier than the old pain in the butt that it was to get the implement lined up with and hooked into the holes on the lower 3 point arms but the disc came off the upper hook several times.

I may try to make one out of some old toplink parts if it doesn't ship soon.

Yep that was exactly what I did, made one with some scrap and an old top link. BTW been working great for over a month.

Just received my new Harbor Freight flyer today and see that the hitch is now available in the stores. The price is the same 69.95 sale price. Just my luck I waited over two weeks for b/o and shipping and now I could have got it a their local store. By the way I live within 15 miles of two stores.

I recently received my HF quick hitch and have gotten it to work on several of my implements sucessfully. Not bad for $69 and a $5 rebate and gift of 3 aviation snips. I picked up a set of "long" pins at Tractor Supply to make it work with my snowblower (see photo) as it needed wider support.
