The adapter can be ordered online by selecting the option to order from the catalog (on the column on the left side of the window) and enter the number 29309-0vga. It comes up and you can order it then.

Good luck
Tried it about 6 or 8 times without any luck. I'll wait until Aug 4. Thanks for the stock number though:) .

On a side note, I received a Packet from HF. It stated that because I was a great customer, they awarded me 9,000 points.:D
They also enclosed a brochure with which I could pick out various "gifts".
There were some good looking gifts and I could choose up to twelve.
I was very unpressed. I do spend a fair amount with HF.
I started getting bills from different companies. And found out now, that each gift was "outsourced" and each company was billing me for shipping at about 8 dollars each, and they now have me on their mailing list.
So BEWARE. Its sad that Harbor Freight has stooped this low. But they have. In the brochure, If one is lucky enough to have reading glasses it tells of the charges. But in SO SO SMALL print.
I don't mind the junk mail . I use it to heat this winter.:D
Anyone else get caught by this??

Finally got my gloves last week. Soon as I found them I quit looking. I hope I didn't throw away a duffle bag. Thanks for the heads up on the "free" gifts.

I originally ordered a quick hitch on May 16th and sent that one back because of quality and the size problem. The replacement was backordered but was delivered yesterday. This one looks much better made and the measurements check out.

Now I have to figure out how to adapt my older implements. I will probably have to use the top link kit for a couple.

Got mine in about a week ago, but then took off for vacation. Today was the first oppurtunity to mess with it. It seems very well built (considering the price). It will fit my ancient rusty brushog after I finish moving the 3 point uppers toward the inside. This gives me about 1" of clearance, which is just barely enough. The top link will not work, but I will make a adapter. The homier boxblade will also require moving the arms toward the inside to make it narrow enough, and again the toplink will not fit but I will use my homemade adapter. My homemade rake, backblade combo will require some modifications. I guess I must have modeled it after a cat 0 or something. It is to small. I will add some width to get the spacing right.
I think that these are all issues that I would be having with any of the quick hitches thou, I will say that the wait was really long. My wife bought it for me for fathers day, and I belief she placed the order sometime in May but I do not know for sure.
Overall Pleased, and I think that with a little setup initially, it will save one heck of alot of time and frustration.

I got my quick hitch about a week ago. Not bad. I only have three implements right now (backhoe, dump bucket and bush hog). The backhoe is obviously not a candidate for this - mostly wanted it to switch between the dump bucket and the mower - I get tired of pulling and tugging on that mower to line it up.

So the hitch works great on the mower - no problems at all. The dump bucket support frame was in the way below the lower two pins. I used some steel I had laying around and created two flat plates that I bolted in where the original pins were. I then installed the pins on the other end of the plate - this effectively moves the pins about 3 inches closer to the tractor and away from the frame that was a problem. Works great. For the toplink, I can't just pick up and go - have to loosen the toplink to extend it into place and then drop a pin in. Still much easier than trying to move an implement or the tractor around so the arms meet the pin.

So I am pretty satisfied - especially given the price.

All,
I got my hitch the other day. I wanted to post that I had zero issues mounting this to my JD 2305. Everything lined up fine and it slid right on. Just thought I would put this out there in case someone was condsidering it for a 2305.

Enjoy!

I FINALLY got mine that was ordered in May. Haven't had a chance to unbox it yet, but I plan to this week. I only have 3 implements that I will use it on right now, and I will modify them to work with it as is. At least that's the plan right now.

About a week ago I got a post card telling me the adapter is back-ordered, but would be shipped soon.
And today, I get a card telling me that that adapter is no longer available.
'Dear Valued Customer,
We regret to inform you that the following item 29309.
Cannot be shipped because the manufacturer cannot supply it any longer.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Any one else able to get theirs shipped before the manufacturer bailed?

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, I do wonder if any were shipped since I bought my hitch almost three months ago.

I ordered mine online and got a card yesterday verifying the order. Nothing mentioned about backorder or not available.

Just a thought, but mine fit good except for some of the homemade & older imp..I found the best fix was to move the top link on the implement to the correct length and angle rather than have to get out and adjust it on the hitch. Took some time and patience, but I don't get off anymore to hookup.

Had to mow yesterday and it was a breeze to hook things up with the quick hitch. Dropped my dirt bucket and picked up the mower in about 3 minutes.

I did find that height of storage is key. So I nabbed a couple of pallets and now have my implements dropped off at just the right height for easy pick up.

I just tried out the hitch on my brush hog. I need an extra 1/2 inch in width to fit the hog. Has any one tried to spread the arms using a hydraulic jack or similar device? It does not appear appear that a minor tweaking of the width would damage the hitch or cause the release mechanism to malfunction. Any opinions on this.

I had to spread mine about 1/2" also. I used a floor jack and a short length of 4x4 post. It was very easy to do. The results are OK, but not great. It is wide enough, and still functions OK, but it definitely distorted the lower portion of the frame, so it looks a little funny. Still works fine. Go slow and spread only as much as you need to. If I can ever get the adapter, or something like it, it will be fine for my box blade and rear blade attachments.
