So I thought I'd make a set of forks to move some brush. Nothing heavy duty since brush is pretty light, right?

Made them out of 80/20 aluminum. Moved one pile just fine. Second pile broke two of the forks.

Back to the drawing board. They sure were pretty.

All you need for the surgery is 2 "true" pneumatic casters from Tractor Supply
and 4 aluminum cross members and stainless steel nuts and bolts and you should be fine.

Good ideas, but I think the casters would prohibit the forks from getting as low as I would like. I need to be able to angle the forks down to get under the brush.

I'm going to go with black pipe. Just going to buy some pieces of threaded pipe and some angles and T connectors.

It looks nice, but indeed just think of hay or straw-- it is a light material, but together it weighs quite a bit!
I need to make myself something like out of steel that for hay! Until now I've just been using a fork to collect it after cutting and raking.
