Grass Cutting Fees

My employer owns 40 acres of land that needs to have the weeks cut a couple times a year. I was thinking I could do it with the L3940 but have no idea what it is worth.

Anybody have experience charging for rough cutting.

I cut grass during the summer for several small farms. The going rate is about $10 per foot of mower pus travel expenses.
Example+A 5 foot mower and 10 miles travel. $20 +$50 per hour. I would cut it the first time by the hour, then set a flat charge since it will happen again. I have found, you are always a bit quicker the 2nd cut.

the best thing todo is charge him $50 an hr to shredd the 40acs.if its real brushy an thorny itll cost you alot in flats.
