FTG and TOM,
What are your grapples called? It looks like it would work very well for firewood with those bottom tines the way they are. I originally had 9" spacing between my tines, but firewood would always fall through, so I welded some flatbar between most of the tines and have 4.5" spacing on center now, which is MUCH better, but still lose small pieces occasionally. I like your setups!
I found ANOTHER use for my grapple I never would have anticipated. I cut out a wall in my log home, and had about 24 pieces of 3'-4' sections of log wall to carry into the woods. The grapple made quick and easy work of it

I've had my grapple for about 5-6 years now if I remember correctly, and still to this day, every single time I use it I am impressed with how much easier it makes my life. :dance1: In fact, I'd say I use it more for chores I never thought I would use it for, than for moving brush/logs which was my original intent for the purchase.
