Thanks again. Just got done doing a search for what you was saying. One person posted that they swapped the selector valve from the curl/dump valve to the raise/lower valve and this worked. I have not found a setting for a non- regenerative curl/dump on my joy stick. I have never looked for this before though. Its a LA480 loader. One of these two should fix it.

I just did a search for "regen" in the Kub forum...

It seems that the Husco valves have the regen on the first part of the joystick travel-then there is a detent or stiff spot to overcome if you keep pushing right to get out of the regen. This is exactly opposite of mine.

Think your valve has that?

Kubota offered the 4 way valve on some models for a little more money.
I don't know if it was offered for my 98 model, either way it only has the 3 way. Swapped the selector valve to the loader arms and it has good preasure. I put a old metal gas can under it and the claws went all the way through it.:D Thanks for your help, it was getting stressful. And I got this to make life easier:rolleyes: .Sure it will now.

Great, glad you figured it out...

IMHO, This was a big mistake Kubota made for a long time using those 3-way valves. Lot's of people later bought snowblowers or front blades only to find out later they needed to upgrade (replace) the valve to get them to work...

glad you got it figured out.

I have a Tatro grapple on my bucket along with a WR Long valve kit on the FEL and it has tremendous pressure. Maple trees, huge rocks...nothing falls off the bucket:)

Was cleaning up some property this morning. When moving old fridges it would either squish the door in when clamped or punch into the sheetmetal a few inches.:D

Well those pictures sure proved you got it working!

nice work dirt clod:)

I see you have the same issue with the grapple hoses. I had a **** of a time figuring out a way to secure them while leaving the play in the movement of the grapple opening and closing. I ended up getting hydraulic hose wraps that fit both hoses into one wrap and then tied them off with HD zip ties.

OK, now you've got me wondering what's wrong with my grapple. I also have very little clamping pressure. It is a Tatro grapple and I love it, but it has little clamping force. I thought it was the 2x6 cylinder. I am running the grapple off my dealer installed rear remote. It is a Factory Remote. Any ideas?

I'm stupid when It comes to hydraulic jargon. The tractor is a Kubota M4800. I have a Bushhog M346 Loader that was installed by the dealer. The tractor has an open center hydraulic system (I don't know what this means?).
