thanks Bill
I docked my 51 foot Bertram in 22 different marinas going down to Florida on the Intercoastal and never scratched the boat. Wacked the dock embarrassingly hard in Charleston when the doofus dock attendant waved me in to a slip, on the main flowing river there, with the current, not against it. Then you learn what trying to stop/brake a boat against 3 knot current while trying to parallel park between million dollar boats Heart thumping and boy did that dock thump when I hit it, perfectly flat too, left a skid mark down my side for 20 feet. That took me forever to proverbially polish out...
problem was no room to spin around.
sure would have been easier if tide was going out.

so the rv is much easier. I can stop and redo and the road is not moving under me.
gets down to positional awareness with my cues coming from known objects.
I haven't hit that mailbox yet and have no idea how close I have gotten.
if I had a decent all around camera system, this would be so much easier.
If I were keeping this rv I would add one.

Ron, sounds like a perfect fix, thanks
with just me I can be my own "gauge" pretty well

Good morning TBN folks! Its 45 here this am and predicted to be 60 today. I did not check the weather at the camp which is an hour south and a higher elevation. The former camp onwer who had originally said they hoped to spend the entire weekend there, now is leaving this afternoon. That's OK and I hope they get some of the "items" out. 😆 Nice sunrise photo taken of Interlakes Barge/Tug on what I believe is the St Mary's river.

50 going to 69, and rain later.

We went to the Richmond Folk Festival last night. Fun listening to Bluegrass, Texas Swing, and Zydeco back to back.

Biggest crowd we've seen on a Friday...I'm sure lots of folks came Friday since it may rain Saturday and Sunday.

Good Morning,
Ct, 50 to start going to 66. Quite a bit warmer today.

I have to make bacon for my grands this morning 😉😃

Bill, the terminal rules have changed considerably over the last few years. Must have hard hat, approved safety glasses etc. if loading hot tar, canvas coat and heavy gloves. Hot tar is nasty stuff.

Hope to get the grass cut before the storm moves in tomorrow 🙏

Need to get going my wife is telling me. 😉

Hope all have a very nice Saturday 🙏

Pool finally down to my 65F threshold, the new black leaf net seemed to add a lot of solar gain and slow that process this year. Now finally ready to shut off chlorinator and pumps this weekend, after draining down below lights and skimmer. Lines all get blown dry, and what’s easy to disassemble gets taken down and stored under cover for winter.

Always a sad day for the kids, seeing it all shut down. :ROFLMAO:

Good Morning
48° and grey. High in the middle to upper 60’s with continued grey and chance of thunderstorms this evening.

Yesterday started with the old guys at the RC club. It was a good day with minimal carnage, none of it involving me. Son came over and flew for a while as well.

I noticed a batch of volunteer pumpkins and gourds growing behind the shop. Not sure how the seeds got there.

The 3D printing project of the day was these hangers to put RC planes on the ceiling. I’m thinking ahead to winter storage, and the fleet isn’t getting any smaller.

Looks like the weather is going to favor inside projects for the next few days with a storm moving up the coast.
One of those will be to test my hangers, and if they work well print a batch more of them.

Wife is at a farmers market today hawking her alpaca goods, so it’s just Zoe and I to hold the fort down and be productive.

Anyone here know what triggers a "this message awaiting moderator approval"? Just got that in reply to one two of my responses about testing septic systems on different topics.

Have I been labeled a "bad boy"? :ROFLMAO:

Good morning TBN!!
46 this morning with clouds rolling in from the coast. High around 70 expected. Overnight we will probably get a little rain tonight and tomorrow from that system.

A bit of productivity yesterday.
Took the leaf blower for a pretty good but futile walk yesterday. More to clean ditches while the leaves are dry and easy to blow.
Then I got a little seat time building my water falls back up from where FEMA needed some help.
Seemed like everything I touched was broken after that.
Plugged the battery in for the blower and it started throwing errors. That may have been because it was too warm and blower shut off because it died. Worked after it "rested" a bit.
Then my Wi-Fi extender bit the dust. Can't have that. Just a little to far away for connecting to the house. So I ordered one from Amazon with one day shipping. Twice just this week that I ordered and paid a higher price for next day only to get email telling me delayed. Really pi**es me off when they do that. I would think if I were a business counting on it, it would be much worse. I am constantly on and off my computer in the shop, not to mention the garage doors.
We haven't turned the heat on yet so I wanted to turn the E blanket on warm and it too died.
In my head it's an ominous sign to turn the heat on :)
No agenda for the day. See what come up

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day!!
