Buppies, I'm happy you are getting a pup...especially a Lab. I got a personalized collar from Chewy that has Della's name and my cell phone number stitched into it...holding up real well.

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 12.5C and it's presently 17.8C, partly cloudy with a gentle breeze.

There are a number of things that I can accomplish over the next few days... it's just a matter of where to start.

Wow BEF, a little too exciting lately ...Hope all this calms down, will they gate that "new" road?

Already has a gate, but they installed silt fence in front of it so it won’t close.
2am this morning a sheriffs car went out thru our field, they first stopped behind the barn and got out of their car, then they drove back to the field, then left. No other vehicle came in before them. It’s been years since a sheriff’s vehicle has been up our road. Not sure what that was about.
I wonder if the guy we told No Hunting had something to do with that. We didn’t call the cops on him.

The township road ends at dad’s mailbox, and people still pull up to the house before turning around.
With the new stone area where the road enters our property, would be a good place to put a future gate, since there is now a turn area there.

Didn't get nearly as much done on the deck that I thought I would, but sure am tired from working all day. Started by removing 6 more deck boards and taped the joists where they were. Ran out of joist tape but just enough for the next 6 boards, amazon didn't have the same brand, so ordered a different brand, another 4 rolls. then installed new end joist for the back half of the deck, on both ends. did install 1 piece of the picture frame on the end. started to install the one for the end of the half I did, and it's not gonna quite fit right. May have to trim the ends of the deck boards off just a hair, they a little long. other option is to loosen the fasteners and slide them a hair. Guess the stop i put up where they were supposed to end, was a little off...
the other end are left long, will cut them with straight edge to install frame on that end. Did get 5 new boards ready and up on the deck, but not fastened down.
This is taking way too long, but sure looks nice, although some of the existing joists aren't level.

some storms developed this evening off to our west, but looks like they are falling apart before getting here.

snagglepuss found a small baby snake, about 4-5" long that she played with. Not sure what kind, but I chopped it up to end her fun.

Good evening all. 47ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Light wind, clear sky and high temp was 78ºF. Made coffee to start day, made Cream of Wheat mix for breakfast, cleaned kitchen and ran dish washer, mowed back yard, found balls so far. Lunch then bike ride, then nap. Made Marjoram meatballs for dinner, green beans and salad.

I think we are past icy mornings and grass is growing. Got the DR brush mower out to clean up some. The 1993 32' Georgie Boy Pursuit parked in the driveway next to the house fell into disuse when the kids got their driver licenses and trucks years ago.

We bought it in 2007 when the twins were nine years old planning to fix it up and do a cross-country trip to cover much in the United States. They turned 14 years old when we was in Carlsbad, California where they learned how to surf and that was about midway through our 30-day motorhome trip that I drove 8,000 mi and spent $8,000 on gas.

One of the two engineering students that helps the wife with her horses indicated interest in the motorhome and his dad and a co-worker of his came down to look at it and I round up giving it to the student because his dad and his coworker very good at troubleshooting and they actually got it started by putting gas in the throttle body on Good Friday. That 454 sounds so nice!

Today we met at the courthouse and got the title transferred over to the guy. After I got home the guy's dad came over and sawed the hole in the bedroom floor to get access to the in-tank fuel pump and it turned out to be very nice.

Mostly, I think you are right, may have to pare the price down to $27,000.oo. Also am looking at maybe leasing it to the company. But at only 1250.oo/year income and that is with my personal snow removal too, I wonder if it is worth it.
The fuel usage hasn't been factored in yet.
