Pipe breaks (x2) fixed. Cost $400, which seems reasonable based on time put in.
Still have to finish drying out the insulation and replace the board removed.
They fixed the sink line that popped as part of the total cost.
I need to replace the washing machine lines, Already have a set, so no cost.

Once everything is dry, I will need to reassemble and maybe some paint. No biggy.

I found price of eggs at local Acme and Giant is $2 more than at local Wegmans.
Acme and Giant are still price gouging where they can.

32°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 53° today.

any of you raise chickens?
you'd better guard them...
$6.95 a dozen for eggs at supermarket today, apparently due to some breeder issue.
not the week for omelettes.
The joke will be on them if someone steals our chickens, Drew. We're paying about $40/month for chicken feed, which puts our egg cost at $10/week. We're still not getting enough to sell any right now to offset that cost.

Good afternoon, gents.

instead of paying dealership 200 a wheel to fix my rashed rims, going to try this first.
it has some bondo goop to help level off the worst parts, which I need on one wheel.
looks like a job I can handle and I can sit to do it.

Good luck! Post pics!

29F now and should be the high for today partly cloudy sky, good chance late morning snow showers heavy at times with 10-20mph winds. 🙄
We aren't that cold and no snow expected but we have clouds AND a heavy fog!

Got pins made and tried on tractor. Still need to paint .
Nice looking job!

Lucky you caught it quickly!

47 years ago, Jan 26, 1978 Ohio got hit with the big blizzard. Roads drifted shut, used bulldozers to open roads.
We used our little John Deere dozer to open our road.
Unfortunately, most of our pics are blurry from that event.
Nice to walk down that snowy memory lane.

Plumber had bads news...the old section of our house is 50 years old...cast iron waste pipe has a long crack that is dripping under the house...extends into a tough access area. Coming back with a borescope.
Hope everything works out well on that repair!

Nothing really pressing to do right now. I think I'll go get a haircut!

Good Afternoon Ron,
That looks good ! So now when you hook the U under the bucket and raise the bucket your able to slide the bottom pins in ! Do the bottom pins have a detent when they slide through, or do you have to use lynch pins after pushing through ?

Afternoon all!
25 dropping to lower teens with snow tonight.
Insurance came and removed the car. Yay!
Of course they didn't have the correct phone number so we weren't notified when they showed up. Luckily we had just returned from shopping. Was locked in my outer garage.
The post office has the title floating all over the state including back to my town twice!! Was supposed to be two days and signature required. No check from insurance until they get it!!
After all that the fridge crapped out at the apartment house. Never ends! It's over 20 years old so we will have it replaced. They are supposed to deliver it Friday.
Going out for coffee with my buddy tonight! Should be for drinks! Lol!
Not sure on tomorrow after the snow cleanup. Will have to see.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

Lynch pin is used to hold bottom pin in place. I have the same QPA on my other tractor. Has worked very good for 25 years.

Is this the invasive and non native Guinea Grass that gets really tall. Saw some show where this was completely overwhelming a property. Talked about former sugar plantations were completely overgrown with this African import
Yup.
Tall and tough stuff
Originally broke in as cattle forage, now invasive.
