Good worship, good lunch. Not to many in the restaurant today at lunch time, so owner was happy too see our usual crowd. Normally it's packed every sunday.

Ordered some Mackinaw Island fudge, saw a $5 flatrate shipping special. Not the shop we got it at while we were there, but hope it's as good.

Ted, my thoughts and prayers are with you and Dona. Anytime I tell someone I'm praying for them, I stop right then and say a prayer for them.

Just saw evening worship was cancelled due to weather, I guess more snow up on the mountain.

Morning all, 30 going up to 39 and calling for rain later.

Started work on the table join for a friend, got the end cuts done. Next step is routing to make the two pieces fit together better and bending each since they are a bit curled at the ends.

Did go out to dinner, but got very sick and had to take my nausea pills, x 2 which is unusual to take that many. Still not feeling right. Have to be careful with those as they sometimes cause temporary eyesight loss.
But today need to restring a star with rope lights as the rope on it has lost quite a few areas to dead bulbs. Now will be LED.

Got the light balls out and some wires run for when my wife decorates the bushes.

So finally saw plans for the ShadyBrook farms place, they sold off 80 acres and it will be an active 55 place.
This is where they have the huge drive through light show we will be taking our friends when they come down in January. Another Farm becomes housing.
My wife used to ride horses at the farm across the road from this one, sad most of the bigger farms are gone. Many are doing Agritaintment (what it's being called) to keep going, Farm experience, pubs, restaurants and stores to keep the rest of the farm whole.

Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of 13.7C and it's presently 19.9C, overcast & calm.

Church was a lovely family/kids occasion, although I didn't get home until almost 1400 as only a few remained to clean-up, including taking down the portable gazebos (one of which was mine).

The only thing that I've 'got on' today is a Parish Council meeting @ 1700.

Prayer sent for Dona & Ted and 'check'.

Good evening all. 48ºF for the start, overcast, light breeze. Light wind, overcast cleared off, and high temp was 68ºF. Made coffee to start day, set-up, attend, tear down chapel, breakfast with group. Went to Sunday School and Church with stepdaughter. Watched some of the Dallas game, got ready to hang rest of outside lights. Stepdaughter came and got them up and working. Did some cleaning lady prep, they are really coming this time. Changed sheets on bed from flannel to fleece. Have some laundry to do after cleaning ladies leave. No nap .
Buppies hope you slept well. prayers sent.
Don nice work getting 23 bags of mulch down. Sorry last batch of epoxy didn't set. Glad next try is setting up. Hope Advil helped you to sleep.
James sorry you don' get to play in the 5 ft of snow. Hope you are recovered soon.
Bill it warms up some if you have to plow.
Buppies will snow keep you from working(ground too cold)?

Ted thanks for checking in. sorry about the drought conditions. Sorry about Donna's scheduling issues, you'd think hospital can do better. BIL had similar issue with his cancer hospital, he lives near Branson MO and Hospital in Houston TX and they made several trips that were not needed or procedure canceled . Prayers sent. Hope it gets better.

Coffee is brewing. 39° with heavy fog this morning. Heading to 51° with .25" of rain. .21" of rain yesterday. Got time outside in between raindrops. Did planning for installation of new whole house water filters. Filter cartridges are starting show signs of being changed to many time over the last 30 years. Off to Menard for some plumbing fittings today.

should be a quiet morning, no plans for today other than having lunch at friend's in Newtown.

ten day forecast shows a very cold Christmas. Too bad we don't get a flurry or two.

Scotty, looks like the kids' Christmas party was a big success.

Della needed to stretch her legs yesterday, so took her for a long hike and swim. Passed only two hikers - ladies with dogs...one was a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, the other a big Border Collie. They watched Della plunge into the cold river.
