Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 4.7C and it's presently 17.1C, just become overcast with strong wind.

A good day yesterday, Chemist stop and then groceries. Home & unpacked, then over to the Church to tackle that bell-rope 'guide'. That was 75% accomplished... I just need to come up with an appropriate cover as the old cover was made of a very thin lead piece of 'sheeting'. (Probably over 100 years old, the Church itself was built in 1882).

During my time 'in town' yesterday, I discovered that today is one of those weird/unique 'Tasmanian holidays'... only for the North of the State. Anyway, I've had to postpone my Launceston trip to tomorrow as I'm unsure exactly what would be 'open'.

wonderful time this afternoon at don's beautiful home in Georgetown TX.
First a dip in the pool, then a soak in the hot tub, it was awesome and left me totally relaxed. Then a delicious lasagna dinner that looked as good as it tasted.
Don then took me to see the community gardens there, all very impressive, and we tut tutted at one guy who hadn't come picked his cucumbers and they had all gotten really big. And of course I had to see the John Deere Don uses here.

a delightful evening, I'm falling asleep. Tomorrow, we head to the barber in the morning.

Many times, when online, you encounter something that requires you to divulge an email address in order to continue. Personally, I find lots of times where I want to continue, but don't want to give them my email address.

To get around this, you can make up any name .... @ privacy.net Such as plowhog@privacy.net The beauty is that no matter what name you make up, as long as you add @privacy.net it will never "bounce back" and alert the site that it is a fake name. And the site believes it is a valid format since it follows the email norms.

Hope that helps someone, somewhere ..... I use it every once in a while.

One of the ways they tried to hack me, is I got a message from someone on my friends list asking for my phone number. It was someone I knew, so I gave it to them. then they responded they had gotten locked out of their account, and i was getting sent a code that they needed, sent to me as their account was locked. That raised a red flag so I didn't respond, and I never actually got a code. But the game is, it was someone who had cloned a friends account, and then was using it to try to take over my account. Most people use their phone number as a 2nd login method (I don't). The code would have been them entering a "I got locked out of my account, posing as me" and with the phone number and the code, they could log into my account, change password and lock me out. Fortunately I was suspicious and I also don't use phone number as a login.

Drew telling of his great adventures and me celebrating my first back in the pool day since shoulder surgery with the Doctor’s approval.

I told the dr it hurt when I did this and raised my arm in a circular motion. He said he was amazed that I could do that circle thing at 6 weeks out and was very pleased.

One more day of adventures with Drew really looking forward to it. The pulled pork jackfruit is marinating in the Fridge overnight. The sandwiches and kale chips are on the menu for tomorrow.

New pad for old sander came, got that put on. The new 18V bosch sander came the other day, it's nice. now I have 2 orbital sanders. steps for dads house ready to go.

I cancelled my Dish Network account after 25 yrs. Lady said it's cancelled 2 days from now at end of current billing cycle. But I just got an email welcoming me to the Dish Protect plan, so it looks like they are going to make this hard to cancel. I'll find out in 2 days. I never signed up for auto pay with them, so they will not be getting any more from me.

That's why I never do the Auto Pay.
I'm long retired and don't mind going to the bank once a month to pay bills.
Nobody has access to my accounts except me.
Had an issue with Bell and cancelled them.
They tried to bill me for late payment every month for about 6 months.
Told them to go pound salt.
They even sent a collection agency after me.
Yeah! That's the way to keep customers.

Good evening all. 59ºF for the start, mostly clear, light breeze. Light wind, Clouds increased, then cleared off, and high temp was 86ºF. Made coffee to start day, Men's Meeting, bike ride, trip to town for lunch, meds, groceries. Nap the dinner solo, nobody from group was going to show but met other friends at restaurant. Will be getting pics from HHH ride, stay tuned

Drew the narrow front end makes it a row crop machine. Industrials are typically yellow. BTW in the 9 years in Texas have seen less than 5 people on horse back.
Drew I got that document of museums given to me and I hung on to it with you in mind. I have no idea how the data was acquired, probably spreadsheet used to present data.

Coffee is done brewing. 34° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 63° with lots of sun. Sassy got a good grooming. Took rest of the day off after a visit with friend. After grocery shopping in the morning. Will get back at winter prep for gardens and buildings.
