Good morning!!!!

I am apparently the world's worst host.

Had a houseful of friends/company which is a Fall tradition for us. Friends traveled long distances and brought gifts, food, wine, liquor, and more. And Rigby very much enjoyed playing with a dog one of them brought.

In return, I gave them all Covid. One day into their visit, I went from healthy to being knocked flat. So I only saw little of them. Fortunately everyone finished their long travels back home before they got hammered with the same illness I had.

Everyone got blindsided. I must have been exposed to Covid, somehow, just prior to their arrival. I still don't know how.

I was "down hard" for 2 days, then maybe another 2 days rebuilding normal vitality. Came to our CA property for a few days to do some work. And am feeling well enough to split and stack firewood today. But I still have friends who are bedridden and quite sick. Really nasty stuff. Nobody saw this coming.

But I did find a bird pix for Ron ...
Plow, that's tough luck. Glad you're doing better now.

Plowhog, feel better soon, sorry you are going through this.
not the kind of memories you wanted to give your friends...

Seventy°F and .zero three inches rain.

I may have mentioned recently that I disappointed in my greenhouse seedlings. Yesterday I learned that may not have been the definitive opinion. When I checked they were all gone, apparently a meal for some approving, salad eating critter. Basically just a tray of rock wool pieces and some hulls. Started anew, this time using covered trays.

Today I celebrate #41 on the anniversary wheel. I am so BLESSED. That lobster dinner we missed last week is scheduled for this Wednesday.

Happy Hour in town this afternoon

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

64°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 79° today.

Had a long, entertaining weekend which I'll have to recount when I have more time later.

Drew and Ted's Excellent Adventures sounds like fun.

Happy Birthday (-ish), Paul.

Good afternoon, gents.

Well afternoon now;

How many of you have stick bugs and what have you had success with to kill them. Had quite a few last fall and this spring. Seeing them showing up again and trying to get in the house.
I did make a round of the house this morning with an insecticide to hopefully knock them down.
Used this product had never heard of it before, Talak 7.9% Insect Control - Bifenthrin.
Was thinking above Sevin liquid but I've heard that it's formulation has changed.

Thanks

They don't bother us, so we don't bother them. Kill or throw back out.
Don't do any harm indoors, accept smack into lights.
I am more worried about mosquitos and hornets.

Well seeing as how they are destructive pest to orchards, vineyards, truck gardening and sweet corn growers I am more then happy to kill all the foreign invasive insects possible.
As well as hating them in the house and around my food stuffs.

Good afternoon and thanks for the birthday wishes. Tomorrow is the actual big day.

Today was a busy day of picking up loose ends and getting things lined up for when it’s time to do them.

If Zoe likes you, you better like dogs, or you’re in trouble.

She was intent on cleaning my ears to her standard.

Daughter came by for me to make some keys for her, I must be cheaper than the hardware store.

Painters are still working on all the woodwork, I took the patio doors apart for them to stain the overlapping areas this morning, and just put them back together they were able to stain and seal the affected areas in that window.

Tomorrow should have the facia finished and the cedar siding on as well. But we’ll see how that goes.

Yup, since updating to I[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]S[emoji[emoji6]]. I think it is the old TBN app I’m using.
