Found a pipe from an oil well that was here 125 yrs ago. Was laying low in the grass, stood it up to be noticeable. View attachment 877726

Dennis, nice drone mowing pics ! How many acres do you need to mow there ?
I would think it might get tiring after awhile! Usually I can do 4 or 5 hours and then my lower says that’s enough !

Used google maps to measure out the various fields, looks to be about 50 acres we mow, of the 195 acre farm. Not including some trails etc. I expected it to be more. Google comes up about 12 acres short for whole farm when i estimate the farm boundaries based on fence lines, etc..
Not too much flat land, very slow mowing with pucker factor involved. This is part currenly working on.

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 0.3C and it's presently 5.0C (heading to 12C), fairly clear and calm (at the moment).

Typical Sunday, I'm off to Church in a few minutes and then the rest of the day is His.

Good day even with the rain ! Drove to Lake George and walked around with umbrellas ! Went to the Wax Museum with our friends and then had a late lunch ! We went for a late lunch on the main drag, Rt 9 I believe, had a great pastrami , cheese and onion sandwich on rye , washed it down with a cold Heineken!

Got my class ready to teach tomorrow.
Storming, but little rain so far. Lots of lightning and thunder. Just started raining hard. Went from .04 to .12” rain in the last minute.
Now .5”

Lightning hit very close to the house. Thunder came on immediately. Landline cordless phone went out but line is still working. No other damage discovered so far.

Plugged in a basic phone and it works.

Cody is ok and handled it really good but he did go hide behind wife to feel safe
