It had 10 points, 3 rows. I fought with it, got it connected and the D-17 wouldn't lift it. Being the first time I've tested the lift, I was thinking maybe I'm not using it right, it's broke/weak, or low on oil... There's a transport valve on the (unused) rear remote - so I fiddled with that also. No joy. I then got my 5' disk connected and the D-17 lifts that fine. So... I took off the rear wings and 4 shanks (probably shaved 300 pounds). It now has 6 shanks and 2 rows. How many shanks on that 10 footer?
On our chisel it's about 50/50 left and right points. When you sink it in the ground and watch how the soil is left will let you know were the points should be.
A 10 footer are you running 2 or 3 rows of shanks?
This is either a 12 or 14 ft, hard ground a 17 couldn't pull it. Good luck
I'll try again today. There is now a lot of unneeded frame back there, to be cut off maybe...
