Not my favorite study method, Dennis.
Took the home exam last time, easier.
I already passed my test earlier in the year.... her turn... Unfortunately her Dr office is building a new place, so She has to go further away. My day is planned tomorrow.
Just took car to fill up with gas, wow it's nice out. 71deg.

Good Afternoon! 77˚F
Window man came early and I was able to make the sign class. They can replace the defective window panes without having to remove the frames but the cost is just a little under total window replacement but I don't have to worry about caulking and painting and it will take a lot less time.

Pushing 70 this afternoon. Nice but still March. Supposed to cool down at the end of the week.

Too care of 2 apple trees in the yard. Things started dying last year, figure nice weather and remove them so we can get grass growing.

. The 3 hydraulic connections in the rear uses the ag couplers with a ball in the middle and they can be tapped to release pressure if needed.

My rear remotes are the standard connector as well. They rarely are a problem, at least the male can be “popped” pretty easily. I made a tool for the female out of an old male plug, stripped the guys and welded a nut on the back side. Then you can just run a bolt into it to pop the ball and relieve the pressure. If I remember I’ll take a picture when I see it.

Happy to report a few hours seat time, mowing. About half done what we would be tempted to call the “lawn”, basically the large area surrounding the house.

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 12.8C and it's presently 20.9C, overcast & calm.

It's 'into town' day for groceries. Prior to that I'll make a tip run, especially to recycle the mysteriously accumulated empty wine bottles (where ARE they coming from???)

That's about it, take care all.

Wagtail, I saw your neighbor dropping off all those wine bottles in your trash. Not to worry.

Joel, great pic

nice dinner out with brother and wife, I had
mixed grill of baby lamb chops and shrimp.
it was really good and place wasn't too noisy.

need to study temps tonight, see if I need to put heat back on. Think I do.
running out of steam

Drew, no word on mower (scag). Guessing parts haven’t come in.
Sorta news my LS tractor, finally got response from LS tech support. Without diagnostic report with codes they are not willing to speculate on stalling issue. Am awaiting word from dealer that replaced mine as to how to handle. I believe they share space with the Caterpillar people, but I don’t know if they have an LS trained tech or if one flies over from Honolulu.
On the bright side, Sophie’s BX did a great job mowing today.

Coffee is cooling in cup. 46° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 67° with partly cloudy skies. It was a great outdoor day yesterday. Got USB port installed on tractor. Got done with that. Sassy was waiting for walk out to back of property. She has decided that is a daily thing. 2 neighbors came over and we cleaned up pine needs and cones. Still one area to do. I should get that done today. Need a trip to Menards for some ready mix cement. Hope to get it mixed and in tractor weight box today.

Happy Birthday Drew!
27 here going to high 50's with sun.
Truck turned 20,000 miles yesterday so I will bring out to the unattached garage and give it a service.
Wife is working a few hours today. After that we are picking up the nephew after school and taking him for his allergy shot. From there we will go out for a late lunch early dinner.
Did mostly errands yesterday so nothing accomplished in the wood shop. Might do something tomorrow. Have a few ideas floating around in the brain.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

Good morning, 38 now and going to 54°F. Wind E 9 mph. 30% chance of periods of drizzle.

If the rain holds off, then I will start preparing the area for the new 500 gallon fuel tank. I am also changing suppliers. They will ONLY have to fill the new tank. I will fill the house tank myself.
Have to check and make sure of whether I have a 3/4" hose or a 1" hose. I will do that when I go out to rearrange. The plan is to put in a hose reel that either holds 50' of 1" hose or 66' of 3/4". There is also a diesel genny in the plans. I am leaning towards 66', but it will depend on what I already have.

Ron, those crows look like a mated pair, but how do you tell the male from the female?

The guy that usually runs with me when we go northwest is taking a trip supplied by his kids to Ireland. Both his daughter and son are in the military. Daughter in air force and son in army.
He was born there, so he is just going home for a visit.

Have a safe day all

Good morning,
30° now, highs in the mid 50’s and sunny this am with clouds later on. Winds SSE at 5-10 mph, finally calmed down from the past few days 👍.

The Mrs mentioned she may like a day away from home so I think a ride and a lunch is on the top of the list for today. Didn’t need much convincing for me to say yes lol.

Enjoy your day everyone
Stay safe and healthy

good morning all
38 out now, going to be warmest day of the year so far, 70 today in clouds.
going to make myself a nice breakfast and then later head out to
cut openings in the garden plastic and plant radishes and lettuce today.

a month ago a new flagpole came wrapped in a cardboard tube. Why I kept the tube?
but now I can cut it to length, and use it as a template for cutting the row slits. Hope to just run razor
knife down each side. pics later. If I had a long enough 2x4 could do the same thing.
going to tape cardboard tube on ends to plastic so it doesn't move around, then do my cutting.

slowly waking up, coffee tastes good
good day to be alive
