LS, great looking tractor! I壇 love to have a backhoe to play with, but I can稚 justify it unless, as Ellen says, she rents me out.

If that's what it would take to have a BH, I would surely let wifey rent me out.... You don't realize how handy they are until you have one. I use it a lot. I just have to get a thumb on this one, the old one had a thumb and used it a lot.

Hit a wall !!!!!

Successfully recovered from my previous misjudgment. Key being a digital inspection camera to see what was going on and my shop vac to remove debris. Reassembled with new fittings but only made less than 6 inches. fittings just aren’t withstanding the hammer blows, failing at the threads. Replaced and continued without success guessing I’ve hit rock, at least a rock. Left the water flowing while I took a nap. Encouraged that I was getting dirt backwash thru the sleeve. Think I have another approach, but will have to wait for tomorrow as we have a dinner invite. So stay tuned gang. With only about 5 ft to success, just not willing to abandon this attempt. If there were a reasonable way to join by coming in other side, I’d try.

Good evening all. 50F this morning, overcast, breezy. Wind slowed down later this afternoon, stayed overcast, and high temp was 59F. More like February or early March. Rain forecast for later tonight or in morning. Laid back day today, bike ride after some warm up, light puttering got some stuff ordered for the wife. Did get a short nap this afternoon, and a dog walk.

Drew, you are getting good results in your garden this year.

I ran a backhoe/loader off and on when I was a teenager, before getting into the body shop and Upholstery business. Since then I’ve rented one 4-5 times, I love operating one!
