Did not take Sassy to Rural King yesterday. Several customers had their Dogs with them. One Yellow Lab got attention from everyone. So I petted quite a lot. Didn’t take long for Sassy to find another dogs smell on me when I got home. Finally had to take a shower and put clean clothes on to get her to stop sniffing. Learned a lesson. Either take Sassy along or leave other dogs for others to pet.We lost our dog, unexpectedly, at the end of December. We still grieve his loss.
I recall past times where our dog wanted play or attention, but I had work to do. You can't stop life or necessary chores based on a family pet's wishes. But when we get another dog, I'm going to reset my "scales" about this. Pushing things toward a little more time for fun and enjoyment, and a little less time for work.
Our dog was never short on receiving attention. Got tons of it, and more. But the next one will get even more.![]()
OOPS! My bad.Bluebonnets are NEVER considered a weed, they are the Texas state flower.
Kk I may burn for this, but I blame it on SWMBO. she was supposed to push the control lever down just a little bit so that it would tilt back into the bucket, and she held it down until the bucket was at its maximum, at which point the round, rolled off and smashed down on the hood.check said:
Have to take the tractor in because a big round fell on the hood, dent it, and cracking some plastic parts inside.
This is going to cost me maybe $2000!
Curious if the round fell out of the back of the bucket...My Kubot has a warning sticker about that potential danger.
