62°F and .33 inches rain. Potentially drier day

Think I got my first external charger settings tweaked in for more efficient use of my Honda 7000 generator.

Need to finish flushing the scag fuel tanks. Been sitting with a solution to loosen the internal junk. Of course I still don’t have the new fuel line fittings. Need to air dry anyway.

In town Happy Hour this afternoon.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Good Morning!!!! 59F @ 9:00. Rain showers this morning with some sunshine during the afternoon hours. Potential for heavy rainfall. High 62F. Winds SSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.
About 3" of rain fell over the last 24 hours, and the back porch drain appears to have kept up this time. The wind found loose roof panels on the front porch, though.

Nice overnight camp on the coast Friday night.

Probably head north on Thursday for another load.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!

We lost our dog, unexpectedly, at the end of December. We still grieve his loss.

I recall past times where our dog wanted play or attention, but I had work to do. You can't stop life or necessary chores based on a family pet's wishes. But when we get another dog, I'm going to reset my "scales" about this. Pushing things toward a little more time for fun and enjoyment, and a little less time for work.

Our dog was never short on receiving attention. Got tons of it, and more. But the next one will get even more.

I can relate. Often times I think just maybe the ones passed got shorter shrift at times. One of the things I changed is every morning at wake up they get extra special attention. Yes, they have come to expect it and it’s a minute or 2 well spent.

Good afternoon.
Somehow the morning passed before I could check in.
It was 29° when I got up, it’s balmy 40 now, and a perfectly clear sky.

Spent some time with Zoe outside, she loves the snow.

IMG_3820.jpg

She raced around for almost a half hour, didn’t seem to wear her out a bit.

A friend came over with a piece of tongue and groove knotty pine paneling for me to rip on the table saw. That went well. As soon as I was done I got a call from my oldest son, he flew the little plane to Philly International, where he has an office, and was done early, wanted to know if I wanted to fly somewhere for lunch. Of course I said yes, come pick me up, we had a good lunch in a very crowded restaurant, I forgot that it’s a holiday.

Got home and had to carry bags of grain to the barn, the snow covered, not frozen, soggy ground would make a mess with any kind of mechanical conveyance. I suppose I could have loaded up a toboggan and pulled that down, but I tested my back and shoulders.
Oddfellows meeting tonight, not much till then.

Hmmm…

Took pics but TBN says the photo is “too large”. I never encountered that before. Any ideas?
Open the photo in paint and resize it to under 4 kb. That is IF you are using MS windows. If you aren't then I can't help you.

PopG, Bring her up here, she will be belly deep in snow. :ROFLMAO:

When I'm looking at my photos there is an option in the save as menu to adjust the size which is actual adjusting the needed file size not the physical size.

If you are using an iPhone, a quick hack is to make a screenshot of the picture and post that. A better way is to make a shortcut to reduce the resolution, but that requires more expertise.

Just thinking about Check’s photo question.
What do most of you view and post from? I use an iPhone or iPad almost exclusively and always use Tapatalk with no ads. (Premium subscription).
Almost all of my pictures are taken with the iPhone (15 pro) and are too high of a resolution to post directly.

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low was, again, 15.9C (for those of you keeping score) and it's presently 24C, overcast & calm. Some rain is expected this evening.

The 'Mad Agisting Horse Woman' has requested a paddock shift so I'll have a wee bit of tractor fun this arvo placing a round into Paddock #5, then shifting the water trough.

January and, so far, February have been very dry and all of the other paddocks have not really recovered/grown from their uses. Oh, well. It is still Summer.

That's about it, take care all.

Laptop computer with Windows 10, pic mostly Motorola phone and I e-mail the pictures to myself. Some are screen shots off my other cameras. Most of the phone camera pictures need resizing.

Almost always post using a web browser on a MacBook Pro.

I reduce photo sizes using the built in Preview application to adjust photo size and resolution, usually to 12" wide or high at 92 DPI. That saves a LOT of bandwidth and looks good even on a desktop, and usually results in files no bigger than 300 kb.

Wow, I haven't known anyone to have LH nuts "in stock". Man, it must be neat to get around in the air, looking at all the traffic jams below. We used to fly over our friends houses in the J3 and yell down to them (before cellphones). Their dogs would start barking and they'd stop and look up.

David, there are other outlets for nuts, what size did you figure it out to be?

Had church youth tonight, but sadly only 2 kids....but 6 adults and we had a good time conversing the "old school" way (by mouth)... Also had some home made sloppy joes. Yummy. The kids had school off and many are now having baseball practice.

Texans can early vote starting tomorrow.

All of my pictures are taken with an apple SE phone and transfer to the same phone's TBN app. No resizing is necessary but it is easier to add text with the Apple MacBook Pro than typing on the phone. That is why sometimes there is a text delay after my pic is posted.
