After seeing my wife mow the yard during my knee down time I have been thinking of a robotic lawnmower. Which one do you have?
For 7-th year I have Husqvanra's automower 320

First you have to put wire around area and then enjoy. Turn blades around in mid season and that's it
For me it is mowing around 1.200 m^2 (13.000 sqf)
Shares yard with dog, no problem
Had battery replaced year ago, was not expensive. Other than that - no issues

Really recommend that thing

Morning all, 52 going to 65 and partly cloudy.
Ended up sleeping most of the day yesterday, did go out to dinner, first time in a month or so.
Trying to adjust my medication, need to call Dr.

Today hope to get the leaves moved and maybe bath the dog, she gets a big stink for a little dog.

RNG - sorry about all the trailer issues, just mention you won't countersue for almost getting killed on defective trailer might do the trick.

Off to try leaf moving, so far behind schedule on so many projects.

Be well,

71°F and no rain. Sky a bit overcast, forecast calls for Sprinkles so maybe we can be hopeful.

Probably watch some football, not that any particular game excites me. Likely make a dump run in between games. Otherwise, nothing planned.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Nice day out. Good worship. Youngest son was song leader on his birthday.
Good lunch with usual crew minus a few.
Didn’t sleep well last night. Legs just ached real bad. Trying to nap

more than two hundred people showed up today at the firehouse, for my ex partner's memorial, maybe close to 300.
A gathering of the old guard paying their respects to a true community leader.

not bad when the fire company dedicates a brand new tanker in your name...
My friend was chief for many years, and his son after him.
I had a good time, got to speak briefly, met tons of old friends

now lots to do, want to work outside for a little while

took the hedge clipper to a lot of dead bushes and flowers, dumped that load in woods and that will be all of that for today.

my biggest regret with my partner, who I was good friends with, was that his heavy smoking habit kept my wife and I from socializing
very much. If you are nonsmokers, the smell of smoke is usually offensive at best. He would shut his office door at one end of the office and smoke
all day long, while I was at other end of office and thankfully far enough away.
It was so nice when restaurants went nonsmoking. Then could go out to lunch/dinner with your smoking friends.

I called Bingo in that same firehouse I was in today every Wednesday night for seven years.
While they all smoked like crazy in front of me. Smokeaters on ceiling helped but my wife would usually greet me
with "you stink" when i got home. Clothes off and into the shower to get smell out of my hair and not on to pillow.

my neighbors really appreciated the ride down to the firehouse. She really should not be driving and he can't.
So it was really fun for her to see everyone. She's a lifer here too. Seeing all those older folks, I asked where two guys were,
who turned out weren't alive any more. In the middle of the service, the fire chief did a test run on the roof siren and dedicated
the alarm to my friends "last run". Honestly it was very moving.
my neighbors get my mail while I'm away so I was happy to chauffeur today.

feels a lot later than 4:30...

Quick post to add the afore mentioned pics.
Just need a little more stone and some cleanup.

Transplanted grass really highlights the end of the wall. We have another one planted on the other side. Should look nice with the high plants she has on the very end.

47F and partly cloudy @ 18:00, headed down to around 36F for the overnight low.

Watched the Browns shut out AZ this afternoon, currently watching Dallas and Philly.

After Browns game was over I started the final mowing on the front for this year, got that about 1/2 done by a little bit after sunset.

Woman ran down and got another 3 gallons of gas which will hopefully get the last of it done.

She just put the spaghetti on to cook.

Hope everyone had a decent Sunday …

Good (Monday) morning. Overnight Low of 8.9C and it's presently 19.6C, high, overcast, clouds and fairly calm.

Apparently it's a holiday here and only for Northern Tasmania. "Recreation Day". When you're retired some of these days tend to go right past you without notice. Tomorrow is the "Melbourne Cup" horse race; known as 'the race that stops the nation'.

This arvo I'll get stuck into stacking the firewood.

That's about it, take care all.

Speaking of scaffolding HD has the "Bakers" style on sale for $160@.
/edit
I just bought a section in Virginia. Need it for some work around the house, Hopefully it will mate with the two sections I bought from TSC back in 2020 or 2021, but they are in Mississippi. I only NEED 1 section here at the moment.
Couldn't edit original post anymore.
Picked it up today. Hadn't seen one in the store and it's got a different "platform". Much heavier, covered with some sort of plastic/rubber. And it's designed to let you lift part of the deck fro below so you can climb up more easily.
The ones I bought before had like 1/4" plywood which I painted. Because in Mississippi everything needs to be protected from the elements.
Seems a good bargain considering I paid $110 or $120@ back in Nov 2020, and $143 today.
