Good morning!!!!

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 8.8C and it's presently 15.1C (going to 17C), partly cloudy & calm.

I'm off to Church in a half hour and then the rest of the day is His, although, doing a wee bit of dhobi this arvo shouldn't 'count'.

To my N.A. Mates; have fun re-setting all of your clocks back an hour.

That's about it, take care all.

Right or wrong, it’s way better than it was. This is where the fireplaces never got installed. The siding just ends without a bottom trim. It has tyvek behind, but where exposed had deteriorated. It was also spray foamed originally. I took the bottom piece off, flashed behind it down to the concrete, than after installing siding flashed it again. I should build a little roof and cover this area. Pellet stove sits just inside on the hearth.
If the tape doesn’t stick I might try the liquid flash, it’s supposed to stick to concrete.
Got leaves blown part way away, I ran out of gas the same time the leaf blower did.

Check, don’t be surprised on the second week of recovery to see your feet bruised and swollen . This is after wearing knee high compression socks all day. Compression socks are required for 5 weeks after Surgery so blood clots won’t form.

   / Good morning!!!! #179,946
have been making trips out to rv with stuff and just had to sit down. Just too much today.
So I grabbed the Garmin out of the rv and brought it inside to load in all the addresses.
Lot easier to do it sitting here.

Once I've seen my friends in South Florida on the way home is
a 55+ rv community in Malabar Florida I'm staying at with one of my favorite names. Camelot.
That was the name on my first boat when I got it, I liked it, it only rains on Wednesday in Camelot, and was the
name on my second and last boat. Somewhere along the line with the first boat, my wife ordered a throw ring with our
boat's name on it for Christmas. That boat ring has now been sitting on my garage wall for at least 15 years gathering dust.
So when I got to Camelot, I knew I had something to do.

out to the garage and had to get a long pole to get it off the wall, and brought it in for a good scrub.
it looks terrible up close but acceptable from 10 feet, or more.
When I get to the office at this rv place, I'm going to offer the throw ring to them if they want one.
made in 1997, too old to use, but on a wall decoration with some old buoys?
I thought they might get a kick out of it. If not, I'll just bring it home and put it back up on the wall.

Garmin sure works nicely if I keep the power on...have it plugged into usb now
a few more addresses to punch in

chicken pot pie in the toaster oven, made in Princeton NJ. Surprisingly reasonably priced.
hopefully made with free yard, stress free, vegan fed and compassionately dispatched chicken.
I believe it said that on the label.
at least there was no lard in it.
best crusts are made of lard. You'll smile until you have a heart attack.

I keep sniffing hoping I'll smell that pot pie cooking. My problem is the bleach cleaner I used to clean off that
boat ring is now on my hands and in my nose and not sure the delicate aromas of my pot pie will ever make it here.

Sadly that will not be happening. High impact activities after knee replacement are not recommended.
Swimming, biking, hiking are in. Before you think that the 13 marathons I ran resulted in my knee replacements it did not. My mother who never ran had her knees replaced, I'm a case of bad genes.

Good morning! 66˚F heading to 76˚ cloudy, South wind.
Restful night, hoping the pain pills will last thru Monday. that will be 3 days longer than last time. Since Buckeye is squeamish about deformities and incisions while eating, Check will have to request a pic of the bruised and swollen foot/ankle after the 10 day mark.

Looking forward to my in-home discharge next week and starting with a hopefully gentler Igor next Friday.

My wife is at the Arts and Craft show in the neighborhood today picking up some Christmas gifts not made in China.

Kilroy, glad the toys arrived in good condition could you take a pic of your goodies. I have still not been to the house since the on-line auction (because of the surgery) so I don't know what is left. It may be another 2 weeks before I can travel that far without swelling too bad. If there are some goodies left I run them past you and Kyle.

Edit: My wife came back with nothing for us and just two Christmas gifts. I guess seeing what happens to all the stuff my parents collected has put a damper on buying anything that is not a consumable product.
I didn’t photograph the copper tubing because it is already on a nail on a rafter in the shed…

Very nice. THose cabinets are very pricey...
Good Evening Dennis,
Kathleen and I just purchased 2 steel cabinets for can goods storage in our garage ! They were 6 ft high,32” wide and 16” deep ! They were about $147 each, and I had to assemble them myself ! But they do what we wanted them for !

51F and cloudy @ 19:00, heading down to around 40F for the overnight low. High here today was 61.2F.

Got 20 more strawberry plants put in the ground yesterday:

IMG_3027 copy.jpg

And got another 10 plants done today to finish off those 4 rows, also marked out another row and got about half the holes melted:

IMG_3028 copy.jpg

Probably don't have enough plants to completely fill that last row but there's probably enough for half.

Woman started on cleaning up the garden and pulling the plants.

She's headed over Little Caesars right now to pick up a pie for dinner.

Hope everyone had a great Saturday ... (y)

Thanks again for that story ! He enjoyed it also !

Have a good evening ! 🙏

where and what kind did you get?
Good Evening Dennis,
I believe my wife got them through Amazon! They are actually not badly constructed! The first one took me about 2 hours to put together, but I had it pretty much down after the first one, and shaved some time off the second cabinet assembly!!

   / Good morning!!!! #179,957
I looked at some on Amazon. First one was $85 delivery, nope.
Saw some with prime delivery. They didn’t say you had to assemble. Think I’ll order 1 and see.
