First pass of getting leaves picked up was done at my place yesterday. No effort on my part. The deal with neighbor using his tractor/mower and my Trac-Vac is still working. There is a fresh covering of leaves in both of our yards this morning.

74 going to 87 with a chance of light showers today. Sunday night, we're supposed to drop to around 45 getting no higher than 48 on Monday. That's unusually cold down here at this time of the year. We typically don't see that until late December. Must be Global Warming!

Kk thanks, txdon. I am looking at doing both of these sometime in the next year, and I am amazed at how quickly it become mobile after. Wife, wife and I were discussing how much time off I would have to take from work, but at this point it doesn’t look like much!

Theoretically, I can teach remotely, and give my lectures, while sitting on the couch. But my wife says I should take advantage of the 16 weeks paid sick leave we get, and I am certainly not going to lecture in pain. So I’m trying to get a good handle on what the range is in length of time in pain. I see some reports of a short period and some reports of a long period.

I am scheduled for an MRI on November 13 to see how bad it looks.

Good Morning!!!! 48F @ 6:45AM. Abundant sunshine. High near 70F. Winds N at 10 to 15 mph.
The Fire Watch has been escalated to a Red Flag Warning. Still the same story, though, with strong winds and low humidity. The air was heavy with smoke yesterday, I think from a 6000 acre prescribed burn north of here in the Redding area. Never heard of one being that big before.

Thanks for sharing the leaf pictures, gang. Very colorful!

Got a buddy coming down from Washington State to help move some of the heavy stuff. He needs to pick up a few things from his mother in law's home along the way in a little place called Boulder Creek, so that will be interesting. We'll head south next Friday and come back the next day, and repeat with another load. Lots of miles in not much time.

I'll spend most of the time this week packing, starting today.

Subaru dealer called yesterday to let me know the gaskets were in. Probably go in Monday to pick them up, along with some other needed hardware.

Morning all, 73 going up to 80 and sunny. Rain and cold start tomorrow.
Son's band played a friends halloween party last night, place was pretty crowded when I picked him up last night.
MRI went fine, got the disc which I will look at today and my Dr. will hopefully Monday.
This morning tweak the halloween setup and make fire, this party started out as a few local friends, but now it looks like some friends from NY will be here and staying over.
From 10-15 people now to 20-30, Wife was cooking all day yesterday, my turn today after blowing leafs, setting up fog machines and projectors etc.

Kilroy-sorry to hear about the CTS but sounds like you made it into a good day out.

Don - sounds like great progress, keep it up so we can read about new adventures without knee pain.

M7040 - one great picture after another, fun to see them each day.

Time to go take some more pills :-(
