Good morning!!!!

Good Afternoon,

PopG, yes you can get a good boiler for 5 K, but then there is all the labor to disassemble the old one and remove it in sections. Your probably talking a 5 section boiler, so that’s a job in itself ! Boilers last a long time, so that means some piping may need to be replaced! It’s not to hard to come up with 5 to 10 thousand in labor charges on a big project like that !

I only answered the question of what a boiler costs. Wasn’t suggesting that installation would be cheap. Last boiler that I removed weighed in at 800lbs at the scrap yard. No way it was an inexpensive install.

Looking at the photos, I might have to be satisfied by drilling two more holes in the center where there are no obstructions behind the step...
Or maybe low profile rivnut?

Ordered a new tire inflator, that comes in tomorrow and will hook it
up to my compressor and top off the tire.
Needed a better solution to take with me on trips so also ordered the Makita cordless air inflator. Compact and hopefully powerful, takes up least amount of room
I took one of those Makita pumps along with me when I picked up the new-to-me trailer, Drew. It had been sitting a l-o-n-g time, and none of the tires registered more than 20 PSI. I didn't measure the time it took to get each one up to 40PSI, but it was in in the 3-5 minute range. There's no lock down on the trigger, so it was a bit of a PITA hunching down on the ground to hold down the trigger. It's a lot better than nothing, but there are probably options out there that are better suited to automotive applications. I wouldn't buy one again.

Morning all, 70 going up to 79 and cloudy, calling for rain tonight.
Did some drywall patching last night to finally close the ceiling where the pipes were fixed. Still need to sand and coat again, then paint. Been a while since I did this, looks fine so far.

Another high school friend passed this week. Died in his sleep.

Be well,
Sorry about your friend.

On the hwy I travel to work, there is an intersection where one highway has a blinking yellow light and the crossing highway has a stop sign with blinking red lights. Tragically, an 18 wheeler loser, just blasted thru the stop sign and killed a young 24 year old woman, a couple mornings ago. Hope they tested him for drugs, and his travel logs for proper rest. It happened at about 6 15 in the morning. I came by at 7:20 Senseless.

Sony WH-1000XM4
Had a pair of these for years. Use them daily. Still like them and recommend them. Turns my crumpled steelskin into a Cadillac soundwise. They really only blocks road noise, voices, radio and sirens are just barely muted and usually easily heard. We had bought them hoping our autistic daughter would use them. She wouldn't. But now she watches things on her cell phone with some wired ear buds, which insulates her from her environment really good.

I need something for underneath the motorhome. In the event of a tornado alert while in a campground.
I've ordered some heavy duty straps and earth augers
Now I need the mounts on the vehicle

being a gas vehicle I'd prefer avoiding welding under there so
drilling the frame for a bolt is preferred.
I wonder if a magnetic drill would make this easy.
They are often too big to fit

I use a cordless impact drill to drive in the earth augers.
before I drill anything need to look under there and see if there are
any existing openings that could be used.
This is mostly to keep it from moving or tipping over.
Wind pressure is given by the equation P = 0.00256 x V2, where V is the speed of the wind in miles per hour (mph). The unit for wind pressure is pounds per square foot (psf). For example, if the wind speed is 70 mph, the wind pressure is 0.00256 x 702 = 12.5 psf.

So, if rv is 8' x 14' it would equal 1400 lbs of force. But this is a googled answer, and I'm not an engineer. So it is only worth the money you paid for it. There is much more to consider which are the vectors of force applied to your straps/anchors holding things down. Easier to pull out straight up vs pull from the side (shear) :)

Yes I can still dump. I do not use it. But wanted to have access to transmission and it’s controls.
Maybe you might have some passengers you need to dump??? :)

Took the day off and made it a date day with the wife. Then watched the sun go down.
Hope all had a productive day.
Good evening...all.

Date days are fun. Nice pic.

Very busy at work, finally got an older cnc mill working with a 5 axis trunnion. Had to revamp an old post processor to work with the 2007 machine. Switching the trunnion from x axis alignment to y axis alignment takes a lot of edits to the post....and trial and error to the cam program.

Prayers for our team.

Or maybe low profile rivnut?

I wish I had a Mcmaster Carr near me, and that they would offer a "will call" order system. Like curb service with orders...fast!

TxDon, I hope you are doing alright. It seems hospice is fairing well. I am interested in your upcoming estate sale. Will it be an auction? Or just come and buy like a garage sale?

I wonder what will happen if they converge? Remember playing the spinner game, with the dished concavity arena? or playing with tops? One of the plastic spinners in the game was named "Tricky Nicky"

Stayed up late and got a picture of Super Blue Moon.
Super because Moon is close to Earth.
Blue Moon because it is Second Full Moon in one month.

   / Good morning!!!! #176,200
good morning all
up way too early
going to be a lovely day, high in upper 70's
but the forecast....five days in the 90's coming up.
Indian summer for real.

hope my niece in Charleston is ok, she says her house sits up a little but hope she wasn't planning on going anywhere
today. I assume they shut the schools down.

RNG, that's a disappointing review, will let you know how it does pumping up my 80 psi tire. Says it goes to 150.
my alternative is hogging up an entire storage compartment for a "real" air compressor and I don't have the room.
I have a beautiful small Makita 2hp compressor at home, I eyeballed it to see if I wanted to take it along, since I have an exterior
110 outlet near the rear tires. just too big.

Ron, awesome pic, have been waiting for it
