Phil, your pens are great. Being a teak guy, I like the one in the middle.
what do you use for ink cartridges?

I bought some German Schneider Slider Rave XB (what a name) on Amazon, nice ball point pens, and love the texture of the cover. Writes nicely too.
but I'd like a fatter handle like yours.

Good morning all
42° now, high around 50 and sunny today. NW wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Can’t seem to shake the wind but at least 99% of the leaves are down.

Had the A/C on as well for the last 2 days, more about humidity than heat. Sure won’t need it today lol.

Other than a trip to vote not sure what else today will bring, just play it by ear.
Oh ya, I finally get around to buying a power ball ticket and the darn lottery breaks! I think it’s a conspiracy

are the darker areas higher elevations? or lower?
guess i flunk moon geography
I'd guess lower, impact craters
I was part right:

In addition to giant craters and sweeping lava fields, the moon is home to some pretty massive mountains.
Up there, the mountains are referred to as massifs.

Good Morning
It’s 43 going to 55 under sunny skies today.

Not much to report from yesterday, nice weather on the whole east coast, windy in Vero Beach. Got home in time for Oddfellows meeting. We decided to donate money every month to help a needy family buy heating oil through the winter, now have to figure out how to implement and find those that need the help. Perhaps ask the oil companies?

Today is a quick trip to Newport News, then probably lunch at Mission BBQ, vote and pick up new glasses. This should be my last trip for a couple of weeks, so I can go back to getting stuff done around here.

There is a crew coming here today to do a photo shoot in a pasture with alpacas for some sort of advertisement. It will be interesting to see what they are up to if they are still here when I get home.

My stepmother was a wonderful artist, spent many winters in Mexico improving her skills.
One of her best paintings was a fantasy where all the horses on the fair carousel became alive and did a Free Willy
down the main streets of the little Mexican town. All brightly colored, I called it Mexican Catholic art.
She was a prolific artist, have three of her works still hanging on my walls. Including the small pastel of my Father pruning the
apple trees in January on our farm. A position I then helped with, and trained me for having my own orchard later in life.

May all of Paul's wife's herd behave themselves.
Maybe I've seen too many camel videos but I look at the alpaca and wonder if it's going to spit in my face.
Maybe it's wondering the same thing about me...

Alpacas generally only spit at each other, rarely at humans. Llamas and camels are far for likely to spit on you.

The best clue was the person who posted it said it was hit by a car.
In Drew’s defense, I think the guy clarified that remark after Drew posted the picture.
