45F and clear @ 20:30, heading down to an overnight low of around 38F.
Hopper feeder refilled first thing.
After that I started mowing the front lawn to kill a little time before getting cleaned up.
Then finalized and placed Menards order, restocked on sunflower and safflower seed so probably good for a month on bird food.
After that I shaved and grabbed a shower and headed off to get the flu vaccination, was in and out for that pretty quick. Made another appointment for next week for check up and meds while I was there.
Headed over to Menards once I was done with the medical stuff and picked up order.
Called Woman on way home and asked to Her to fire up the oven and stick a piece of leftover pizza in it to warm up for when I arrived. Never have to worry about going hungry when She's on the case - there were two pieces wrapped in foil sitting on the stovetop when I rolled in.
She had gotten Water Buffalo moved over to the barn with the Cub so it can be refilled + the weeds cut down around the hydrangeas while I was gone and had a dump cart full of weeds, leaves, and debris.
After eating (only one piece) I headed out and took the dump cart up to the compost pile and emptied it.
Then I used the Kubota and the PHD to drill four holes: one for the Red Bush, two for the hydrangeas, and a "bonus hole".
Then we got the last Red Bush planted and watered in near the first one that we planted yesterday. Still to pick up the rocks and stones:
About the time we were finished with that the neighbor lady came by walking her dogs so I got rid of the most of the screened compost still in the bucket in two of the other holes and started mowing the front lawn while The Woman visited.
Worked on that using the lights until about 18:00, got it a little over half done. Probably finish it up tomorrow.
Japanese Cherry (middle) and Red Maple (behind the Japanese Cherry) we planted yesterday, with peach tree from last year in the foreground:
No damage to either of those trees yet - but the deer were already pawing the dirt in less than 24 hours (probably looking for grubs) so we'll need to get them caged up, probably tomorrow.
Woman ran over to Maki House and picked up dinner, She tried the beef teriyaki this time ... said it was good.
Hope everyone had a great Monday ...
