Tom, you are right, gated Y will do it. No other spigots I can get to.
AC is a challenge, 12 foot heavy power cord, restricts where I can put hot tub. Lots of
warnings not to use extension cords. Instruction manual completely worthless, pictograms, tiny fonts, no explanation,
Have to vacuum floor tomorrow, then will lay a new tarp underneath, then start building the thing when I get home from PT.

Filter system seems robust, lot of plastic.

well, first I have to do the fuel filter, which came in today, for the Gravely and new reflective lens in rear. And tighten the nut on the tow ball, which came up
fairly shiny after a soak in paint thinner. Then it goes back home on Thursday. One week is all I got...but a good one. Just no room to keep it here.
tree crew hard at work, sort of, getting rid of big logs. They brought too small a truck, couldn't pick the rounds up they cut, so they were taking their sweet time cutting them again.

Mowing finished, finally. Including the old garden area. Thinking I might lay some cardboard down to kill everything before tilling.

Now to find, cut, and paint some 2x4’s, need 15 8 footers. Not sure I have that many.

David, 200 gallons of water, not sure what a pan would do.
They did give me a patch kit...
because the power outlet I need to plug into is right next to the sump pump, and the basement floor is slightly inclined towards the sump pump side,
and the floor is plain bare concrete, not much to get hurt. A very unfinished basement. Which I'm going to try to disguise with a coat of white paint and some
bamboo screens.

sump pump is very heavy duty and I test it. With just me, very little reason to change the water, maybe take some out and replace. Don't want to tax low spec jet well pump.

75F now rain quick down pour more much needed rain over night...high today 90F 3 H's again.

Long but good day at work once again found our mailbox laying on the ground trip to hardware store for lags screws and mailbox...$79.oo...someone with red vehicle has damage.

Not much plan for the rest of the evening.

Sorry Drew, was thinking a shallow pan, enough to collect initial over flow and direct to sump pump, not enough to self contain.

Found enough 2x4 of appropriate length to cut to size. Need to clean up, lightly sand and paint. 2 coats hopefully.

Got up to 92°F today, but the relative humidity was down to 46%. Not a terrible day at all.

Got the trash gathered this evening and walked the can down to the road. Need to feed the fuzzy butts, then a trip to the store for a couple things from The Wife's list.

Good luck with the new project, Drew. Are you venting that space, or just going with the humidifier?

The rains came. 3.15". We had more rain today than any one month in the last 9 months. Finally there was enough that we actually had runoff.

Good (Wednesday) morning. A cool overnight Low of 5C. It's clear with a light breeze and there was 3.2mm of rain in the gauge. Presently it's 16.4C and a beautiful day.

It's 'head into town' day for groceries. After that I may head over to Pyengana for some of their cheese. I'll donate the cheese to be used as prizes for draws at a couple of meetings I will be attending this week, one local tomorrow evening and the other meeting in Ross on Saturday.
