Morning all, 28 with a hard freeze last night. sun is up! and going to 52. Must be spring coming along...

Check- glad to hear Sharon is through the operation and all is well. Healing time!
Lou - while I miss bears at the trees like we had up north, I don't miss the bears messes. Hungry from hibernation, everything starts to look like food :eek:

Roy- glad to hear your in better shape today!

Buppies - hope this one is quick. Too many Dr. visits, time to eat an apple ?

I only sleep 4-5 hours per night, and everything wakes me up.

Stay safe and be well,

I am still trying to find more of my Belize pictures. I have looked online recently and the area of Placentia where we stayed is now built up, everyone forgetting about the hurricane that wiped out most of the area in the early 2000's.
Some of the rooms of our hotel. At one point covered in tiny (about 1" total length frogs).

Lots of mangroves. Airport has a road running through it, sometimes with goats, we bicycled over the runway to get to town.

This is me taking a picture of a pro photographer taking a picture of a small whaleshark.
Some of the ones we saw where much much bigger. Weird swimming along something the length of a school bus. One almost swallowed me by accident.

That's my fin upper left

Morning all;
My wife got a few pictures of the danged critter that disturbed my sleep last night;

This is looking out the kitchen window, the bottom of that feeder is about 6' above the ground

And here he is enjoying the bird seed while destroying the feeders, just before I ran him off!

Then it was a couple of hours before my wife would calm down and let me sleep,
at least I got to sleep in a bit she had to get to work, saw her off at 7 and took a nap till 9 breakfast time now.

Here on Delmarva we only have a few bears, some say none but pictures say otherwise. Still they’re not a problem here as they were where I grew up in northeastern NC. what we do have are nuisance coons, they tear up feeders, dig up flowers, dig holes looking for grubs, eat cat food, etc… We had a rabid one in the area last weekend, sheriff’s deputy shot him about a hundred yards from the house. Had another one about 5-6 years ago, he was near death and didn’t hang around long. We also have skunks that dig holes all over the place.

31°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 45° today. Looks like the snow will arrive just after midnight, with 1-3" tomorrow they now say. Sunny and 60° forecast for Sunday, and mid-70s by the end of next week. Weeeeee!!!

We've had a couple of cameras in the kitchen and sunroom for awhile, which my Wife calls "The Dog Cams." After the home invasion and hostage thing that happened just 15 miles from us a few months ago, she decided we should have a better camera system. It kind of shook her since she's home alone much of the day. We had someone come in and install four inside cameras that work through Google Home. Yesterday, they came back and installed the four outside cameras that they couldn't get to then due to ice we had at the time. They also left two more cameras for us to install, one in the garage and one in the barn. I'm still a bit torn on the idea, but she seems more at ease knowing if something does happen there will at least be a record of it.

The taco conversations didn't work, Mostly_. I ended up making chicken alfredo with bowtie pasta for dinner last night.

You're wife trekking to Boston sounds like she's doing much better, Roy.

No bears here in southern Illinois, but the skunk population sure seems to be thriving this year.

I haven’t been clean shaven in a very long time. Boss would likely not recognize me if I was. This was 48 years ago.

Its 30 degrees here and going to be a decent day, unlike yesterday where it rained or dropped huge wet snowflakes and sleet all day. Zero accumulation, but not nice out. I did get up on a ladder and unclog a gutter on the shop, but that was it for outside chores.
Worked on FAA and airport authority stuff most of the day, zoom meeting in the evening.

Heading to the airport shortly to get a quick look at some palm trees should be back in the early afternoon.
Look like a bassist to me! :)
New growth appeared on chest off to dermatology doc tomorrow more slice and dice
Prayers. Sorry about this.

37 early and 52 later, cloudy, damp and miserable.
I’ve got to service the MMM the ZTR and the push mower, grass is already turning green, wild onions and garlic are standing tall. Most trees are budding and the willows are getting leaves. Spring is upon us.
DST starts Sunday.

Kyle, only just catching up on here and reading about your bent cylinder rod woes. What a bummer.

I am sure a talented machinist like you will not have to succumb to JD's extortionate prices to fix it. Some less skilful cheapskates like me would be thinking along these lines...
