Bill boss like clean shaven, 3 days growth rubs her cheeks raw

I haven’t been clean shaven in a very long time. Boss would likely not recognize me if I was. This was 48 years ago.

Its 30 degrees here and going to be a decent day, unlike yesterday where it rained or dropped huge wet snowflakes and sleet all day. Zero accumulation, but not nice out. I did get up on a ladder and unclog a gutter on the shop, but that was it for outside chores.
Worked on FAA and airport authority stuff most of the day, zoom meeting in the evening.

Heading to the airport shortly to get a quick look at some palm trees should be back in the early afternoon.

good morning all
30 going up to 50 today in clouds.
Looks like a messy weekend with rain and a little snow Sat night.
then forecast is marvelous, in 60's following week.

Paul, wonderful pic, thanks for sharing.
I wonder how much money you have saved on razor blades and shaving cream over a lifetime...

when I shaved mine off last week I was reminded how much sun damage I have. Little brown spots here and there.
Guess it comes with "maturity", right?

am off to hospital this morning to get blood work done for routine oncologist visit next week.
Next week back to dermatologist for what she described as a "scrape and burn". Sounds like a motorcycle accident...
one of my spots was squameous; I've lost count how many I've had. Doc sent scrip to CVS for Mometasone furoate, aka Clarinaze to
put on my flaky spots. Greasy white stuff with steroids, might help.

Hope you all have a nice day.

toppop52 said, "I sleep pretty well for 2-4 hours, then toss and turn until I get up."

You have my sympathy. In fact, I first thought you were taking about me. I can't even remember the last time I slept more than 4 hours continuously.

Always glad to hear good news.

While on R&R in Australia I had a kidney stone. Urologist removed surgical via existing orifice.
Some months later I was evacced to Army hospital in Japan (Camp Zama) for unrelated event. Befriended a fellow soldier being treated for kidney stone. Treatment was regimen of beer. He hated beer and would just pass it on whenever he could. I was appreciative.

My Australian urologist told me that without a doubt I would get another, likely in 20 years. That was 1968. I’ve been an avid advocate of drinking beer for its medicinal value and to this date have not had a reoccurrence. I do have to make a brewery resupply run this week.
Finally a good excuse to brew again!
What is the daily recommended dosage?

Good morning! 27˚F. bright sunny skies, heading to the mid 70s, South wind. One more Ace Hardware to check for a EGO battery on the way to the Dentist. Time to star combining car trips to minimize gasoline consumption. If they are out also I'll have to order and pay for shipping, which would be the same if I had to buy gas to drive to Austin.

Even with gasoline over $4 if you have an electric car you are paying more per mile IF you cannot charge at home.

For that answer just look into the studies.
"Conclusions: While smoking is one behavioral factor that seems to have some association with KSD, no clear effect of alcohol and physical activity has been demonstrated."

"Does Alcohol Cause Kidney Stones?

No direct link between alcohol and kidney stones has been proven. However, alcohol can cause dehydration, which is linked to kidney stone formation. For this reason, alcohol use is not recommended if you have kidney stones or are trying to prevent them.

In addition, there are other factors to consider:

  • Dehydration: If you drink, particularly in excess, it can cause dehydration, which is linked to kidney stone formation.
  • Weight gain: Drinking excessively means you are getting a lot of empty calories, which can cause weight gain. Being overweight or obese are also risk factors for kidney stones.
  • Uric acid: Alcohol like beer contains something called purines, which are the building blocks of uric acid. Purinescan lead to the formation of uric acid kidney stones, and beer could exacerbate problems that you have with high purine levels."

There are other studies also.
