Good Morning
It’s 35 and won’t see 40 today. Rain and possibly wet snow throughout the day.

Yesterday’s visit to the FAA went well. Preparation paid off, the only open item is that I have to provide them the serial numbers and calibration data for the scales used to weigh the the airplane on the last report. That should give some idea of the level of detail involved.
Got home in time to have dinner with wife for her birthday, DIL invited us to eat with them, we never pass up grandson time……

I’m about to go meet a friend for breakfast, then stay occupied until zoom airport authority meeting tonight.

Good morning, low temp is 23 and high will be about 34°F. wind SSE 6 mph. 30% chance of flurries.

Yesterdays plowing took an extra hour, because I had to replace one of the rear chains on the tractor. This chain had been on since 6 years or so. It was due. I will order a new set of rear chains this fall.

Went to move the Jeep and trailer, so I could plow the snow away from that doorway, (I don't do it until the snow is piled up about 10" or so around said Jeep) and the trailer was frozen in, so roll the bucket over and give the trailer a nudge or two to break it free and out she came. Layed a layer of ashes down after plowing and stuffed the Jeep back inside. I drive the Jeep in and that way when I fire it up I don't have to clean the windows/mirrors before getting out of the shelter. There is also the back hoe for the tractor in there so I cannot get all the way in.

I got a phone call yesterday from my dispatcher, the annual tanker/orientation meeting will take place on April 20 & 21, we do one of these every year, I prefer to do them online. I think that they are a colossal waste of time, mine and theirs. I've got reservations at the motel in Markham that I use for the 19th through 22nd, even though the meetings are just north of Newmarket in Sharon. I have business to take care of in Richmond Hill which is a little north west of Markham and all the really good restaurants I deal with are in Markham.

check, have you got access to wood ashes? They are excellent for putting on the snow or ice for traction. They are all I use.

Roy, did you hear that Betty Crocker and Budwiser were amalgamating? They are going to make pissquick. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Have a safe day all

Interesting article. I had to take antibiotics before a root canal years ago for the same reason...well not for an artificial joint, but because of the stated chance that bacteria could travel to the heart. Is that on one of your trusted sites for health?
Just a Canada site that first came up while sitting in the dentist office while I was waiting for the rejection. A topic I can research further and then discuss with the orthopedic doctor when I see him for my 3 month visit.

Good morning! 30˚F heavy frost partly cloudy, heading to the 60s. I was not expecting the frost this morning, good thing I only have one potatoes up. the big freeze will be Friday night when I will have any potatoes covered with mulch for a day.

Getting ready for the burn. Mens beginner pilates today with instructor Nancy, she is also in the Whole Food Plant Based group.

I did not see the price of gasoline at Costco yesterday but each pump had a line of 6 cars. I filled up at Randall's grocery store for $3.69, no lines. They are a low volume gasoline station and are usually behind a few days on price increases.

33°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 53° today. Local weather guessers at this point will only suggest "possible accumulation" for Friday.

Was having a discussion with a coworker yesterday about the various chicken places that we like or don't like. Got home last night to find The Wife had picked up chicken from Popeye's. Thinking perhaps I should get into a discussion today about tacos. :D

I've ordered from Burgess in the past, Drew, and don't recall any negative issues with them. My Wife's Grandmother used to order from them every year for her quarter-acre garden.

Given the problem of getting off the ground with an over-weight plane, Paul, I'm not surprised they are so picky about that particular detail. Glad the rest of your process went well.

It's not just the weight, it's how the weight is distributed in the aircraft...

Yep, here's two that were relatively recent:

There was another one that was caused by "average weight" calculations rather then actual weights (and balances). I couldn't find the the article, unfortunately

What county are you looking at, if you don't mind saying.

This is in Rockbridge, but looking in several counties. Saw decent prices in Louisa, lol but prefer to stay further west.
