Good evening all. It didn't take the wind long to melt the ice this morning

Yeah, but if some pissed off bull elephant is after my butt, I think I'd want more fire power
Roy have you ever read "Karamoja" Bell's book about his time in Africa ?

Don did Egore were the black hood? 8deg in 2 weeks sounds like tall order
My money is on Egore, with or without the hood.
Don, see if Whipper can find you a stick to bite on - tastes better than soap :)

not sure we heard from Phil in Mass., how he did with last storm.
Was another non issue here. We don't have any snow on the ground at all.
Tomorrow's storm is only supposed to be 3 inches. Thanks for asking.
Been trying to keep up with the post during morning coffee.
Been busy lately with my cord hobby. Friend of ours liked them so much he ordered 100.

63°F and .01 inches rain.

Only agenda today is back in the caretaker, hoping to make progress.

I do apologize for my poor attempt to keep up here lately. So much going on, storms, travel, new RV, medical issues, building issues, etc, etc. I’ve fallen woefully behind. No one can accuse GM of inactivity.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
I am in the same boat. No time for leisure at present. Fitted and painted a new door frame yesterday. Got to order a new screen door for it. Lots of window frames to do and that is the easy stuff. Spent all day in the city yesterday getting booster shots and essentials including a new electric frypan, nebuliser, pulse oximeter and sundry. 2 new rat traps arrived and we got a mouse before we went to bed. New skylights work well. I still have 2 solar ones to fit in bathroom and laundry. Lesley is suffering from the booster today. She had a bad night. My shoulder is very sore so no work today. No other after effects for me though.
I try to catch up with postings but they move so fast I do miss some.
Hope everyone is OK.

People don't realize how much we depend on reliable electric till it's not there.
And just think many places didn't get electricity till the 30's and 40's and some even later.
As a side note for those with small generators your water well pump could be put on a receptacle.
With it on a receptacle and an extension cord with the same receptacle you could have water.

There are several receptacles to choose from depending on needed size;

Even a 5 Kw unit could run many well pumps if that was all it was powering.

Got home before any snow. Almost got the side of a car that decided to cut me off.
Snow is going north of us right now. Doesn’t matter, I’m taking off tomorrow anyways.
Found out today my project being put on hold till about April , finish what I’m currently doing then stop.

Woodchuck, glad you got power back.

Less than 3 more miles to go on the recumbent bike for tonight.
