No Bible study tonight, several got COVID. Glad we were gone last Sunday. But one who tested positive was coughing a lot last week, but tested negative then.

The elephant was chasing us because we existed in it's territory . Eventually we had to just take off, as each time we slowed down, it would charge again.
We saw a truck that had been hit by a pissed off Rhino on one visit. Made deer damage look like a scratch.
Still, the scariest animal for us was the Hippo's on the Zambezi river.

We were in a rubber inflatable canoe (as they have a tendancy to get upset and shred any hard sided canoe that touches them). We were against the wind and tired towards the end, and could see the truck up ahead.
As we look over, a hippo comes up, opens it jaws full and roars as it moves towards us from all of about 10 feet away.
The guides took off and left us. I paddled so hard my hand was bleeding. Won't be doing that particular trip again.
Oh, and the crocs were always eyeing us, so capsizing was not an option.

Same thing ruined the OBX, it was near paradise 40 years ago, local sheriffs and council members that were born there and held the values of those that love freedom. Now most officials are from the metropolitan northeast and they bring their gun control and educational ideas with them.

I prefer the word acceptance to the word tolerance. I think it is the next step towards understanding.

And let’s keep in mind there are many kinds of different. Like how we vote, where we live, our thoughts on climate change, guns, animals, self sufficiency, and on and on. It’s a long list.

And... we should be willing to fight to the death for you to have the right to be different.

Good thought but I doubt you will want to fight to the death because I want a vegan cake. And I doubt you will support laws that make vegans a special class of people not to discriminate against and make it illegal not to have vegan food at every restaurant or the restaurant can be sued and put out of business. No I don't expect you to conform to my vegan lifestyle.
